I used Jiyan and Calcharo in Wuthering Waves to make good looking fight sequences with their abilities.
I really love Wuthering Waves combat is very snappy and satisfying. I highly recommend it if you played Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact because it offers a whole new combat dynamic! c:

@@Afeenah the thing is I know its not that hard it's literally just pressing attack when the circle is small but for some reason I press and I get hit anyway. And then on another try I press again the same exact way and it parries

They are in my 1st team along with Verina for exploration. My 2nd team is Jiyan, Mortefi, and Verina. My 3rd team consists of Calcharo, Yinlin, and Verina.

Genshin is harder than wuwa imo. If you don't use shield characters it's way harder to avoid damage. There is no way to parry And you can only dodge twice in a row before there is a little cooldown. There is also no perfect dodge mechanic that extends the invulnerable frames and refreshes the dodge cooldown. In wuthering waves you can chain dodge multiple attacks and even parry inbetween. In genshin if you dodged 2 fast moves in a row the 3rd one is gonna hit you guarantee. But attacks in genshin come in slower and more telegraphed. And it has more potent shielder and healers.

Jiyan is currently stronger in general in single target and aoe. Calcharo is not far behind in terms of single target (he has a higher "skill" expression because of swap canceling). But as of AOE Jiyan is uncontested because his grouping is very good.

I can dodge most bosses but not the one in story mode lol I always panic spam dodge lol

If ur not confident with your timings try dodging twice when practicing/when ur unsure. This is because if you miss the first dodge but land the second one it will reset the cooldown of both dodges and recover stamina. Also a ground dodge gives you lots of I-Frames. Play around with it then eventually you should get more comfortable!
