The idea of Carlotta having a signarure echo set just screams bad game design to me. If you dont pull her, or start the game when she isnt on banner, there will now be an entire echo set that is completely worthless bloat. Carlotta was a perfect opportunity to make the glacio set have more than a single character its useful on, but intead, now there's two entire sets in the game that are only usable on a single character. And if this new set is somehow Lingyang's new best in slot, thats even worse, because then the glacio set has LITERALLY NOBODY who wants to use it. Either way, I feel like introducing signature sets like this instead of just signature echoes is going to massively bloat the game without adding any actual depth to the options older characters have.

My expectation is they are more of a gen 2 of sonata sets, rather than signature sets.

@PIxelTreeTV I hope so, I'm 100% down for all my worries to not exist and the update to be awesome, but I can't help but do a bit of theorizing sometimes lol

Well i think we will get new sonata sets for evey region that will be good for those regions character

Bruh hsr and genshin does this all the time making a whole new set for one specific character get over it
@Silver-tb7hfКүн бұрын
@andreesprz1316 There's a big difference here. In Hsr and Genshin, the only real way to get those artifacts is to go to specific domains to farm them. In Wuwa, every single enemy you kill drops echoes. If you're constantly having your inventory filled with worthless garbage, it just sucks. If they keep on putting out signature echo sets, we'll be at a point where 90% of echoes are worthless garbage for 90% of the playerbase, and we'll be forced to spend EVEN MORE TIME merging echoes, which is a big problem already.

Don't even get me started on echoes, man. I lost another 3, and more tubes on bad f'kng rolls. I'm pretty much done with echo tuning until Kuro gets their collective shit together, and fixes the broken system. I'm completely sick, and tired of farming echoes, and the piddly amount of tubes we get only to blow it all in moments, and still have nothing to show for it. It's so bad that I could have 10 of the same exact main stat echoes, and still feel like I don't have enough. Even if they just removed the three flat stats, and did nothing else, it'd at least be something. The biggest problem is there's just not enough mats provided to support their tuning RNG. This is the sort of crap that's been slowly turning me away from WuWa. It's to the point where now I just login, do my dailies, and pretend it doesn't exist until the next day., which is sad because I used to love playing the game, and now I'm borderline disgusted with it. I'm even questioning, and kind of dreading pulling for resonators because I know I'll inevitably have to build their echo sets, and I've lost the patience to do it. It's literally the ONLY part of building our units that's RNG based, and I can't, for the life of me, understand why they made that decision. I'd say I hope it gets fixed in the 2.0 update, but so far there's been nothing reported, or otherwise even mentioned about it. Tuning is just a flatout bad experience for me. Even when I get fairly decent rolls I still have those flat stats haunting me, and it sours the entire experience.

Your problem for not saving and trying to build 15 sets with min max rolls ! Ot top of that Its RNG i don't we are supposed to have 5 pieces with 25 perfect rolls ! Otherwise Sequences for Resonators will be totally useless if you have your Character with 3k attack 90 % crit rate and 350% Crit Damage !
@demontekdigital3 күн бұрын
@@BloodyVeel Seriously, that's your argument? Did you not read the entire comment? You're not going to blame ME when it's a developer level issue. Yeah, it's MY fault that I didn't spend a month farming echoes. Are you for real? I know it's RNG, and that's the entire problem. The flat stats have a much higher percent chance to roll than the other ones. I don't expect perfect rolls. I'm even okay with getting one per echo, but when you get three in a row on a single echo, and it happens 4, or 5 times back to back you're not only wasting echoes, and mats, but you're also wasting time. Explain to me how that's MY fault. Those flat stat rolls are completely useless. If the max flat stat is 450, and your character has 20k health, 2000 atk, and 500 def do you honestly think that piddly ATK 450, HP 100, or DEF 70 is going to make any difference? You might as well have not rolled at all. Sequences have nothing to do with echoes because not everyone has them. If you mean circuits, most of the big damage comes directly from their kits regardless of what echoes you have. It isn't just my problem either. There's plenty of people out there with the same complaints I have. Not only that, but explain to me why the echo substat rolls are the ONLY RNG when it comes to building a character. Why is it that we can't feed level 0, unused echoes into the exp system, when you can do that for weapons? Your comment has no validity, and no basis in reality.
@ilegitcookie3 күн бұрын
@@demontekdigital Actually flat ATK is quite good as a substat, as long as you don't min roll for 30. It usually ends up being better than damage % depending on the setup you have (usually involving sig weapons), ATK is a very useful stat in this game because we have a lot of dmg % sources. The reason you can't feed level 0 echoes into new echoes is because of how infinitely farmable they are. Theoretically, you could just keep joining other people's worlds and clearing out their worlds for more echoes, there's not actually a limit on how many you can get in a day (there's a limit on the amount of materials you can get, but not echoes for some reason). Not to mention boss echoes being permanently farmable even in your own world, albeit with a cooldown outside of Dreamless. The RNG is stacked against you, but I'm going to be honest, this is how they get you to log in daily. You might not like it, but this is technically the only thing keeping people logging in daily, without a decently high RNG factor, players would basically be done with the game permanently until the next update because almost everything else is pre-farmable with no day-to-day restrictions. You bring up that it's the ONLY RNG factor when it comes to building a character, and that's by design. You can raise your skill levels, character levels, and weapon levels with no RNG, so this is the only place they CAN inject it. And from day one, their philosophy was that you should be able to grind as many echoes as you wanted by hunting in the overworld, so tuning was the only place they could put RNG, since main stats are infinitely farmable. Even then, the RNG is much less stacked against you than in many other games with similar gear systems. There's also nothing really difficult enough in the game that forces you to need substats to clear. People have shown off max difficulty hologram clears and tower of adversity max star clears with echoes that haven't been tuned at all (all +25, no substats). Good substat rolls really just make it easier.
@craiver003 күн бұрын
While I agree there's lack of tuning materials, I'd argue that we don't need perfect rolls to clear the game.

@@ilegitcookie Now see, THIS is a great reply. I get exactly what you're saying. However, Not all people have the time to endlessly farm echoes, (even though it's fun). My issue more has to do with bad RNG rolls, and the lack of mats to support the system. I just keep getting bad roll after bad roll to the point it gets frustrating. I don't think farming echoes is what keeps players as active as they'd like. Once you farm for a while it gets boring, and tedious, and many people will log in to do their dailies more for consuming waveplates, and astrite rewards than getting echoes. I'm not even trying to min/max, and as far as endgame goes my skills are trash, lol. I'm in the process of swapping Xiangli for a split build to a full Void set to see the difference in dmg output is. As far as infinitely farmable echoes, yeah, you're correct, but once again, not everyone is going to join other people's games. I personally won't let anyone in my game because they're not there to meet someone new, or become friends. They're there to suck your world dry, and bounce.
