If you can't find the game folder then do this. 1. Open the epic games launcher 2. Click on Library 3. Right Click on Wuthering Waves and then Click on "Manage". 4. Click on the Folder icon "📁" next to the "Uninstall" Button (The folder containing all the game files will open) 5. Scroll down Until you find the the "Launcher" file then click on it. 6. Now you can install the game 😁. *Make sure to right Click on the Launcher application and Pin to taskbar or Start so you can easily find it next time *

Your Fix works!! So in task manager UAC virtualization is disabled. I know for a fact once we enable it will work or through BIOS but I do not want to risk my data being controlled I don't mess with BIOS and UAC virtualization for any game this is one of the reasons I do not use android emulators on my PC.

I don't think you'll need to mess with anything else in the task manager tbh. Just Ending the Epic Games task so that Wuthering waves stops running in the background is good enough to work.

Running the Launcher.exe not Launcher_epic.exe in the wuthering waves install folder also works. Did not need to close out of EGS.

You'll only need to close out of Epic Games while Wuthering Waves still shows "Running" in the Epic games store. Cos the Wuthering Waves Process will be running in the background and Closing Epic games also closes the Wuthering Waves Process in the background

I had the same problem with Epic and this fixed it. Only reason I did epic is just to have it be right there with Genshin, Fortnite, and Kingdom Hearts

I have the same problem, it works via Epic if you start the normal launch in the file folder with a double click, but not the one from Epic Launcher EXE! By the way, if you load the launcher directly as a Windows version from the website, this doesn't work either. You can choose an installation path, but nothing happens afterward (at my System) when Task Manager says that an action is being carried out! Not a good start for the game if even such essential things don't work!

This doesn’t really „fix“ the issue. It just lets you start the game, but to start it again, you have to repeat the process instead of just starting it normally. I hope they fix this before the game releases. The only reason I downloaded it from epic games was because of the desktop shortcut. When I download the game from the official website I don’t get any ways to actually launch the game other than going through the files and searching for the application. I could just create a shortcut myself but then it would have the ugly administrator icon on it and I don’t want to stare at that thing every time I start the game

I downloaded the game from play store for mobile the game opened and i completed the pre download then the game sais restart the game after that the game wont open everytime i try to open its only black screen i downloaded the game 3 times now its still the same if you know what is causing this or how to fix this please tell😢

I've never experienced that before sadly. You may need to uninstall that version of the game and download the Launcher from the official wuthering wave website here: wutheringwaves.kurogames.com/m/ Restart your PC before you do too to prevent any issues
