I've suggested more older and mature characters like the ones that already appeared in WuWa like Yhan, Francesco Montelli (Carlotta's Grandfather), Lady Xinyi (Mt. Firmament Mayor) and even actual older, playable characters from Persona 5 The Phantom X: Okyann and Vino. WE NEED OLDER CHARACTERS. Almost NEVER we get to have a more mature cast of characters in a game roster, and Kuro's been cooking with the ones they already have designed! I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR MONTHS!

Saints got some pretty shit takes here. Weve already seen WuWa improve on a lot of stuff Genshin delivered horribly in their game. I don't think its a bad idea to want to see Kuros take on underwater or desert zones. You have to take into consideration that this is a different game company lmao. Desert themes with Egyptian structures are some of the coolest themes you can do when done right. If you make a bland boring desert then thats on whoever designed the game. Give me my desert! Give me sand surfing and giant monsters lurking underground, and mirage echos, and a big Oasis with resources in abundance and a slum with rogue like characters. Theres so many cool concepts you can do in a desert.

Outside of gacha, the majority of male gamers love the likes of Dante, Vergil, Nero, Cloud, Sephiroth, etc. the same way people love 2B, Kaine, Eve, Lara Croft etc.

Things I hope they include: 1. An echo exp dungeon to solely farm echoe exp or simply allow rerolling of substats 2. Set bonus change from 5/5 to only 4/5 required for full set bonus (tired of farming for elemental echoes on wrong sets) 3. Removal of weekly material cap so that I can level and use my character after I pull them 4. Flight available in all regions

The weekly material cap is understandable for 3/3 limit. Because other players power-grind for characters they wanted. Let us not forget the CN law which limits gamers too much time on playing online games. They'll rage and sue kuro if ever the global servers doesn't have any cap while theirs has one.

btw "taciturn" and "quiet" is not really the same. "taciturn inplies a tendency to be unsociable or unfriendly. "quiet" is just quiet. so, people, make sure you really know the deeper meaning of a word when you want a character in the game when kuro is giving out surveys. also, dont lie about age. just put "prefer not to disclose". that's gonna mess up the statistics kuro uses for decision-making.

Yeah I said I would rather they limit making new weapon equipment types and just make more units who have unique weapons + weapon animations as theyve been doing. Like, Jiyan uses his spear even if hes equipped w/broadswords for stat reasons. That allows their animations to stay high quality and the only reason to pull limited 5 star weapons to be for stat reasons instead of fomo.

Literally even the villains right now are in love with us. We need more characters that are narcissistic or more passive in the way they interacts with us. I’m not saying some characters can’t be that way but we need more business partners or friends on even footing rather than friends with benefits. I’m also hoping for characters that aren’t 100% human. I feel like in Genshin after a while with so many characters they all look samey with different color schemes. I would like to see some animal features or plant or whatever like they asked if it makes sense and looks good on the character and matches their background/location/story. It feels like CN games just don’t do that so hoping for a change here as well. Not a furry but some of that is ok since it expands the story and setting is less bland when it’s not humans only.

On your last point, they need to give Camellya a ton more dialogues and get her talking with other NPCs, during Rover's story. She can totally be the Renegade dialogue options, while Rover be the Paragon, referencing Mass Effect. Renegade options are always the most interesting. I mean if Camellya sees what Carlotta is doing with Rover, I can see her losing her mind. Or if anyone was rude to Rover and Camellya sees it, it is basically a near death experience.

I think it'd be cool for them to really experiment more with the different species that could possibly exist within the world or how far Forte can go in transforming someone since we've seen that it can affect people a lot more in physical aspects (Ie. Nah saint's take on saying no to more weapon types is dumb, because 1. the weapons are 100% guaranteed in both banners 2. You can choose the standard weapon you want from the standard weapon banner. and 3. They'll also probably create 4 stars weapons of the different types, so that isn't changed as well, also given enough time there will be more options of 4 stars weapons. Adding new weapon types won't change a thing about the f2p aspect of weapons I said yes because I want to have fun with it, let me slice my enemies with a scythe damn it! :)

Rover already has a scythe, although his weapon is a sword, so I don't see a reason to add a scythe as a new weapon type, or a new weapon type in general

not everybody wants to keep rolling for the shiny new archetype for the newest character. the 4*s will be dogshit as we already know, and we already have some decent generalist crit weapons (yinlin sig, eog, etc). meanwhile the standard wep of the new archetype (IF they even add that) could be atk% or have a meh passive like the standard gun. not sure it's the move to vote yes on making the game more predatory just for some minor cosmetics they're already capable of making.

@@penguinxrock Even now the 4 stars weapons are bad aside from a few that are decent and can't be used on every character you'll get (not every character uses the same weapon types) unless you're willing (as an example) to change the same rectifier between 7 or 8 characters or even more in the future every single time you want to beat TOA or hologram... just think what if for an example a new dps comes out that uses a rectifier but it needs Yinlin's sig rectifier to deal damage while also needing Yinlin herself for damage support? you can't use the same weapon for both characters at the same time so what?, would Yinlin's support be lost because it's lacking her weapon that's needed for it or will the damage of the new character be bad because it's missing Yinlin's sig wespon?, now try to imagine the same scenario with 3 characters, how would you deal with that? Adding new weapon types would just cause people to either use the standard 5 stars weapon- as they're already doing, the sig weapon- as some people do, the sig of another character that fits (Yinlin's rectifier- would be bad longterm when too many characters would need it in one team or a bad 4 stars weapon until they can get an upgrade - which a lot of people do, so basicaly adding new weapon types won't change a thing, it'll just add variety as people will either 1. Use the new 4 stars weapons even if they're bad, 2. Pull for the standard weapin, 3 pull for sig It changes nothing other than having the new weapon type for players to enjoy. Furthermore as new characters arrive there will natrually be a bigger roster of weapons for the new weapon types. You can think that it's terrible and select "no" but I honestly think that's a good question to answer yes to, now as a side point I also trust Kuro to deliver as they've been doing that with a lot of things, the reason for them asking doesn't have to be predatory, Idk but given their track record maybe they just want to make the players happy? Had anyone thought of that?

@ 1. i absolutely believe that some players will keep switching the same couple weapons between several characters because it works fine and they won't need to pull more. i think this is the sort of thing that happens early game, and as we play more and get more pulls yes, people will start going for sigs so they don't have to swap. or kuro starts adding endgame content forcing 2+ teams to be drafted right away. BUT (for right now) the difference is that, lets say i already have two different crit rectifiers. i want to pull the new character, as well as their sig because i'm tired of switching. my pulls go terribly and i get the char after losing the 50/50, with just about nothing left for the weapon banner. at the end of the day, if i can't scrape together enough pulls i can cope with the other rectifiers. if the character uses a completely fresh weapon type, wtf am i gonna use now? simply WANTING the new character now needs you do dedicate what, 240 pulls at worst now? so you can get them and a usable weapon. "oh, just get the standard wep" standard pulls don't come by often and nobody's spending their astrites on it. by the time you get the standard you will probably have another character you're eyeing. 2. depending on the dps of the character, if it way outperforms what yinlin provides then yes the player will swap to something mediocre on yinlin. jinhsi for example, just cares about yinlin's coords, and she absolutely nukes the map. xly if played regularly just wants her outro. if the situation is that bad where yinlin absolutely needs to be doing her dmg as well then the player might have considered swapping to another char who has an available crit weapon. assuming this is a lategame player, a few months from now they'll likely either have another subdps to use OR they would've had another usable rectifier. i find it hard to imagine that in the future, all THREE members need a dps rectifier--that just doesn't sound right. i think the trend of the 3rd member being an erbot/healbot will continue. 3. are you currently dissatisfied with the way they handle "varied weapons"? again, you have people like changli whose signature doesn't even appear if you do ground basics. i dont even think jiyan uses his claymore at all in his ult state. lets say changli was released months later and needed a brand new dagger weapon. i don't see how i might be feeling any happier if she doesn't even use the damn weapon in her animations (but personally i prefer they add custom weapon models + animations to everyone! they can really cook with this). i'd ONLY feel at ease knowing she doesn't do like 10k because i had to run her on a random 4* dagger i happened to get. so many similar examples were mentioned in this video. i honestly think if they keep this pattern going, we'll have a lot of creative attacks WITHOUT needing the player to shell out more money to be able to even USE the character. kuro can already make people happy by including these great animations. i won't spoil if you don't look at leaks, but i really like one of the new character's attacks. kuro has once again outdone themselves by thinking outside of the box, basically ignoring the weapon typing of the character and making a homage to an old anime. i'll admit that my ranting will be moot IF they add a FREE, USABLE, four star weapon of the new type, that you can get from an event or something. and that they do this for every character of a new weapon typing. it doesn't need to have crit, it just needs to at least have the same scaling (atk, hp, def, er) and a relevant passive (ex. some type of glacio passive for a glacio char, etc). naturally i'm doubtful because we haven't even seen many half decent 4* options yet, aside from the concerto energy weapons (only for full supports..) or the pink cat sword, though most people already got 1 or more EOGs. kuro, at the end of the day, is a big company that wants your money, so I think even my proposed solution above might be too forgiving. they're playing nice to avoid having people jump ship like they did in 1.0, and the CN community sounds extremely volatile. i think it is good to be wary, and without knowing how they'll handle new weapon types in wuwa i think it's a slippery slope i'd rather not look down. the current animations we have are great, really! i see no reason to change it as of right now, so players can at least stick with backup weapon choices. also, i'm generally unfamiliar with how kuro handles things, at least in the long-term. but you had hsr players going "genshin could never" and now they're dealing with insane powercreep, apparently even more than genshin's had in its 4 years. of course i know those are hoyogames, but i'm always going to be wary of whether kuro might be planning a long-term bait-and-switch while players feel safe in spending their money. i'd LOVE for wuwa to keep being as great as it is in the future, but i will not treat these gacha companies as if they're a friend trying to keep me happy.

Your wrong about the dessert part. Sure the sumeru dessert was a bitch to explore. But this is Kuro games we are talking about. Just imagine how cool would it be to explore the map with a serpent or a scorpion or camel-like echoes. And ofc learning from hoyovers's mistakes they probably won't make the puzzles too difficult and the upper map too empty either. With devs that focus on making the game more fun and player friendly there is nothing to worry about and we should instead give them more room for creativity.
