Great vid. Those West Virginia roads just NEED to be rode. I didn't get to see the steam engine, maybe next time. Glad you made it home. Sometimes, when you ride a bike, you get wet. It's a thing. When it rains, it's time to grab a rag and thank the heavens for the free bike wash.

Beautiful area, Pocahontas County. I was there for Memorial weekend, stayed near Marlington. Saw a lot of that area in the couple days I was blessed with there.

Just found your channel .Thanks for the positive reviews, and your love riding in our Mountain State.I have ridden the same roads.Come back in the fall and ride 150 Scenic Hwy, at one of the overlooks you can see Snowshoe Resort,probably 5 + miles away. Stay safe 🏍✌️

@@HarleySanta we’ve already done exhaust, shocks, windshield, seat and handle bars (twice…lol)!!! The next thing we hope to do is upgrade our lighting!!! After that, we just wing it and do things as we can.

@@2upjourneyjunkies Yeah there are some nice places to ride in the Northeast. I saw you guys at Tall's event. A good run would be to hit Rt. 17 in NC and ride north up the coast. When you get to Delaware, take the Cape May/Lewes ferry to the Jersey shore. I'm from New Jersey and ride up there for a weekend time to time.

On my Hayabusa trip from AZ to Maine and back: I only hit Wheeling at dark, didn't find (like) any motels and moved on to Ohio. The Ohio motel clerk called me crazy for riding during tornado warnings that I knew nothing about. I don't really claim WV as a state I've ridden. It looks like I missed some great riding through areas that I love to ride and meet locals.

We didn’t plan the route, our friend did but we stayed in Summersville. We went up to Snowshoe on the backroads then over to the railroad. The routes are also on the freeman maps. The maps are awesome & you can usually pick them up free at Harley dealerships or online at freemanmapstore.com
