Just put fresh batteries in mine, but I have seen that sucker glowing through the side of my pack after I drop it in there sometimes and thought it was off. Gotta watch that. Good to see someone in the woods! Believe it or not, we haven't been out yet.

It’s been a slow start for me. Hope the flooding didn’t get you’re area.

@@bkbowhunter1 no, we’re OK. The center of circulation went over us, so we got a lot less rain and not too much wind. Calm in the eye and all that. It’s just a few hours east of here where the total destruction happened though, and they’re letting all that water stack up at the dams and then pouring it off, so rivers and streams aren’t flooding here, but the waters about as high as it can get without flooding. Makes fishing impossible

First hunts of the year are always fun no matter the amount of action for me, just a huge adrenaline boost to get us going for the next few months!!! I have not been out yet, to many irons in the fire at the moment 😂

Boy, that has happened to me and Jerod before with headlamps. So, you aren't going to do a rifle hunt? This is what I hate about the 2-buck limit, you have to make a choice on what season you want to hunt. As I have said, some hunters will lose a season. The limit should have never been changed, we should be able to harvest 1 buck in each season, archery, rifle and muzzleloader. Okay, enough of my soapbox. When you deer hunt, you see squirrels, when you squirrel hunt, you see deer. LOL That fox squirrel has you pegged!! LOL I guess Jerod and I will be going out on what would have been the actual opening day of bow season for this year, October 19th, if the DNR hadn't changed the opening day years ago. I kind of miss the old opening day of bow season being in October. That time of year just seems more like hunting season. Already watched Steve's hunt, nice looking buck. @@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures definitely true about seeing things other than what you’re hunting 🤣. Im not sure about gun season yet. Be pending on what i have down by then
