Kawasaki is sending me a new primary for my 2020 krx.warrenty is up but they are standing behind it knowing the issues.secondary is slightly groved also.will that be a problem with the new primary if I don't replace it also in your research.notice brother I didn't say opinion ❤

? I have a 2020 krx with 350 miles and my primary is grooved. My dealership wasn't any help to me. How did you get kawi to replace it. Thx Bill

@@MikeAult-mh2qu have you ever serviced it. Took it apart and regreased? If not the Teflon on the secondary bushings will wear out and it will have a lot of play and cause higher belt temps .. very important but not many people do it

@@billmcdaniel3510 all sheaves will groove some..at 350 miles unless you have had water in the belt box you should be able to install our weights and get plenty of miles out of that clutch

I did the JBS Secondary spring and removed my primary spring, I noticed my belt temp was at 4 bars after a 20 minute ride, normally its at 1 or 2 max & thats with all day riding, dessert/dunes. I'm wondering if adding the JBS Clutch weights will fix the heat issue. I put it all back to stock springs for now so I don't burn up my brand new belt. (2024 KRX4 1000 ES SE) 900 miles on 35 inch tires

@@BroMediaRyan I have original clutches and first gen krx with 3400 mountain miles still going strong.If it ain't broke don't fix it.I am going to be putting in the jbs weights this go around though.
