My Daddy was in the Battle of the Bulge. He got a pretty bad leg wound but thank you Lord for bringing him back to us.

@@History-Secrets Ironically his frozen feet played a role in him passing away at age 94! As he aged his circulation got worse and I feel like it had to do with his feet. That may not be true but even Momma thought that also. He said that forest looked like toothpicks. Oh, one more thing. My husband's Dad was a survivor of the Bataan Death March!

Whitewashing your helmet isnt even correctly for this time in the battle of the bulge, the snowing actually started later in the battle of the bulge, and not every soldier white washed their helmets

these reenactments remind me of the time I stayed at my grandparents for a week because my parents were on a holiday, One day it was like 6/7 in the morning I got out of bed opened my curtains and got scared the living shit out of myself because there were german soldiers in their yard, Turns out there was an event happening that I somehow didn't know of. At 4:43 was that historically correct SPAM??!! My youngest son and I used to have days when we would take different mess kits And cook historically accurate meals on old burners or a small fire. I want to thank you for like reenacting with this stuff because most of us weren’t there for it and we need to see it even though I’m up here in America and I collect stuff I have mostly replicas Diana kind of broken iron cross from World War I I’m pretty sure that’s what it is I wanna thank you again for showing us how they did it how brave they were what I did for the world. The. Neuropathic pain is something I live with daily Nick, that my brain hates the cold. Like yourself the skin opens even being out in the cold for a minimal 30 seconds it just opens. With no one able to help find out why it does it. You need little hand warmers or socks Nick that have a heating element that run from a battery. That would help you sir. Thank you.
