How do you keep the brakes on while accelerating?

@@mothman7786 well you have to first select fill realistic controls, then assign a button for brakes and then swap to whatever controls you were using first. Then spawn, throttle up full and break until you see the plane dragging forward. Then release and do a happy successful short take off :D. Try it in test fly first just in case. But it works with any plane

But be careful with prop planes. Because if you wait too long it might flip forward!

Great shot. I lost my altitude when you got me, I was like at 4km. But on the next run I was at 5km+ and I noticed your shots were exploding too early (below me). Etna is such a cool cruiser, I wish it had a scout plane. And yeah those guns are not good against battleships 😂

Actually, the Fritz X isnt entirely German. Most of its systems were copied from a French-made glide bomb (the BHT-38). The original french designer in exile (Maurice Hurel and Jean Turck) helped the allies make a jamming tool because the Germans didn't change the radio frequency of the control system.

Now this type of gameplay is amazing and I personally love it, the amount of satisfaction you get from getting kills from fritxs is insane but the dissapointing thing is the low amount of rewards you get (1k-2k sl per kill) spending around 20 minutes to get at the right altitude then another 20 to get 2-3 kills just to get a max of 5k silver lions is demoralizing.

Since most people play arcade, it's the He-111 is actually better for this role there. With He-177 the aiming gets locked on the first bomb, so if you miss the first drop you have to wait until it lands before you can try again. With He-111 the only bomb will rearm by the time the previous one lands.

Also, because of how the aiming with Fritz-X works, you can start maneuvering away after you drop it. The aiming will be locked to the same spot even if you fly upside down. So once you launch it, you can turn away and try to go in the direction that avoids clouds.

If you think the Fritz X is cool (it really is) The B-29 had an automatic targeting system that used a computer to create a ballistic trajectory to hit air targets extremely accurately

Not just lancaster - stock lancaster, no engine improvements, when you get it some improvements, it's fine... anyways, 262 C-2 doesn't sound british, so I doubt I'll get to it (especially considering how rarely I play with planes)

Sim with B-29 is also the case, you tend to get the 6.0-7.0 match with short runway. You can barely take off and landing is a whole ass challenge.
