6:37 > This is the arched gate of the German border town of Waldfeucht. In January 1945 the town was assaulted by British forces as part of Operation Blackcock. At one point, a Tiger tried to pass through this gate in defence of Waldfeucht, but was too wide and got itself wedged in; to make matters worse, the long barrelled 88mm gun wouldn't traverse - it just kept hitting the walls on either side of the arch. There is a detailed description of the battle for Waldfeucht in the book "With The Jocks" by Peter White, himself a member of 4KOSB and therefore an eye witness to the events of that miserable frozen winter of 1944-45. +NEVER FORGET!+

My Father was wounded in Waldfeucht, here is part of a letter we recieved from his best mate. "I can never forget that day in a little German village called Waldefeucht. I came tearing up the main street with a Tiger tank after me! I turned into a gap between two houses, turned the tank around to await the Tiger and there across the road beside the house opposite was Les's tank, knocked out. I had to sit there for two hours before I could go over and see if he were alive or not. I could see where the armour piercing shell had gone through the drivers compartment where he sat. I later heard that he had been wounded and taken to hospital". Harry facebook.com/D-Day-a-Tribute-to-Leslie-Frank-Collins-and-the-Amphibious-Sherman-Tank-779381888762668/

At 02:50 we see Major-General Gwylim Ivor Thomas, [ CO of the 43rd (Wessex) Division, part of XXX Corps] standing on the left with hand in pocket and smoking his pipe. Not the most popular of Commanding Officers to say the least, he was occasionally referred to as 'a shit'.
