Hey Renzic, This is a masterpiece but still makes me sad because my granddad flew for Germany and nearly lost his life to flak and just walked away with only one eye. I remember him telling me how horrible his missions were and he teared up every time talking about the war. Now I have children the same age as I was then asking about the war and I will tell them the same message of how horrible war is. Your channel can show people the horrors of war and still be good videos. Thank you for your videos and I think grandpa would have told you the same thing as I just did. Have a nice day, -Johannes

And I lost my grandfather some years ago so i did complete that chapter a long time ago. He was flawed just like everyone else, for example he hated every russian with a passion because they his family needed to flee out of königsberg (today kalingrad) because the Germans were scared of the Red army. He lost his house and land and never had a chance to get it back. I think at the end he forgave them but not for almost his whole life. Do not regret your request. Videos like this are important. The simulation is modeled on real battles, battles in which tens of thousands willingly faced terror, pain, and death, in the hope that their sacrifice would make the world a better place. Of course we still have war, and insurrection and riot, and even the occasional pandemic. But planet-devouring world war is now unthinkable. Full-scale world war will remain unthinkable as long as people can feel the horror of unrestrained destruction and massive death. But if the day ever comes when we can watch this video and not cry, we will be doomed to go through it all over again.
