Recently I've just become so fascinated by these videos. So I have some questions. What part of Europe did you find these? I noticed there are loads of Russian videos of stuff dug up from the eastern front. Also how come German gear is buried so deep , did the allies bury it once the Germans were defeated or was it buried by shelling? or fleeing German forces. Really interesting stuff!!

Wow! 1 meter- that is quite a depth, my Minelab X-terra detector wouldn't be abble to pick up a signal that deep :) Well - yes, the clay is preserving item if there is no oxygen- had found several good items in this way- in swamp, and bunkers.

marchingpackofCeHS No, the things were not clean in the box. This box was almost 70 years under water in the ground with mud. The dirt and the water went through the box...please take a closer look! He could have been a Luftwaffe Sani. Fallschirmjaeger or Feld Division perhaps. Femaru pistols were typically issued to Luftwaffe personnel and the gull you found is an enlisted gull found on Kragen Spiegel of Luftwaffe Soldaten. Most Sani carried Pistolen to protect their wounded Kameraden.
