The weird, curved, bottle with the metal top I wonder if it's some sort of inhaler for medicinal vapour or similar?
@johnutting96152 жыл бұрын
Possibly an ink bottle
@Hairnicks4 жыл бұрын
Mike, I'm pretty sure the bottle with the bent neck is an ink bottle and possibly a Mont Blanc ink bottle, a Jewish firm, Hitler used a Mony Blanc pen throughout the war and never realised the little star on the cap top was the star of David. Ironic.

Great vid, Mike. Love the plane. I was digging in a field, and found a toy spitfire. Love finding the old toys. Had a good laugh at your son owning Patrick by finding the hat badge on top of his old diggings. Is it possible that you and Patrick could do a WW2 magnet fishing episode? Keep up the great work, and looking foreward to the next adventure. Regards, Hank

The bottle „der Lachs” is the bottle for Goldwasser liquier oryginally made in Danzig. The Goldwasser was very popular and is manufactured continously from XVI century. Its inventor was Dutchman named Ambrose Vermolen. The place „der Lachs” still existing but not as a distilery but as a resttaurant.

Just to let you know that the small silver twin engine airplane is a miniature Heinkel 111 medium bomber in use since its design as a passenger a/c in the 1930s then as bomber in the Spanish Civil war in 1937 and from 1939 to 45 in WWII. Great find.

D.R.G.M. stands for "Deutsches Reiches Gebrauchs Musterschutz" meaning protected patented design under the Reich Government. It was probably some civilian piece. Basically a government patent. I believe that was put on items from just before the WW1 era to just after WW2.
