One photo grabbed my attention pretty quick. I thought at first it was showing a group of brave women manning a anti-aircraft battery. If any German pilots saw that from above I wonder what their thoughts were about it.

My grandfather speaks fluent German may he rest in peace and was a very soft hearted man they weren't monsters like some people portray them. The SS got rewarded for the cruelty and it was wasn't the junior unit. The grown SS got cigarettes and extra food rations for the deeds should we say that they committed.
