There was the M2 Carbine developed by the US in WW2 but it more of a Selective-fire version of the M1 Carbine, and it was issued too late in ww2 during 1944 and only saw some usage.

Some people say that these automatic rifles are first assault rifles but that’s not true, assault rifles features pistol grips instead of rifle grips

Lol, like that's the main feature of an assault rifle. An assault rifle needs to have 3 distinct features: 1. To have an intermediate cartridge 2. To have select-fire capabilities 3. To have a detachable magazine

Karabinek Wz. 29 shown is a Gewehr-29/40 (german production identical to the Kar98k) 'Berthier Rifle' shown is a MAS-36 MAS-36 shown is a Berthier M1934, a Berthier Carbine converted to 7.5mm 'Mannlicher M1895' should be labeled Mannlicher M1895/30 Stutzen as is shown 'Mosin-Nagant' shown is a Mosin-Nagant M1891/30, despite being listed as the original 1891 Vz. 24 has a Kar98k Sighthood when it should have a Unique one Type-38 Rifle shown is a Carbine '1889 Belgian Mauser' is a Mauser M1889/36 despite listed as the original variant FN Model 24 did not serve with the Belgian army Gewehr-98 shown is a Wz. 98a, a Polish reproduction, note the thumb groove and flat rear sight HIW VSK did not see full production or service 'Danish Krag Jorgensen' is a Model 1889/24 Artillery Carbine 'Krag Jorgensen' is a US Model 1896, being the only krag in the video without a denonym infront of it, it could also be mistaken as the Original krag despite the design originating in Norway Winchester M1895 shown here is specifically an Imperial Russian contract with full rifle stock and stripper clip guide, not in service with the US Military 'Springfield M1903' is a Springfield M1903A3 specifically, which was not in service in 1903 'Swiss Mannlicher Carbine' is specifically an M1893 (very niche this one, I just really feel proper designations are important) 'Norwagian Krag-Jorgensen' (Norwegian*) is a Krag-Jorgensen M1894, did not enter service in 1889, but did serve until WWII "Jungle Carbine" was a nickname given after WWII during the malayan emergency and the proper name is Lee-Enfield No.5 Mk.I

The swastika flag is incorrect for all German weapons entering service before 1933. The emperial German flag from 1871 to 1918 has black, white and red horizontal stripes, after that it was black, red and yellow until 1933, then it was back to black, white and red until 1935. The swastika flag only served as an addition to the actual national flag and was not declared the official flag before 1935.

@@dataillusion Russia did not exist as a country between 1917 and early 1990’s, and you attribute 2 of the 4 so-called Russian rifles to Russia when in fact they were made by the Soviet Union. Canada used a different design flag from 1922-1957, which included WW2 period, so your video is incorrect about Canada's flag during WW2. Czech republic did not exist as a country until 1993.

@@hugh8329 I think the arguement of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and modern Russia is an aguement to be had. The same can be said about Imperial China, the Chinese Republic, Communist China and Taiwan. Are they a different country because of the totally new governement and social order or does the shared cultural and historical heritage simply make them the same country under a new badge? I would argue the former. If, for example, the Union had totally lost the US Civil War and had somehow been completely taken over by the CSA(Confederate States of America), it would not be the same country. Territorial claims may be similar but if a country has to renegotiate treaties and boundries with the new government, it means it is a new country. So, in other words, a place like Taiwan IS the original Chinese Republic and the CCP has no claim over it since they were never governed by the same laws and treaties since the communist took over the mainland. Shared cultural, racial background or previous land claims should have no impact on an independent state in these cases. Otherwise, Russia would have and actual claim to Alaska. America would have claim to the lower part of British Columbia and Vancouver. Britain would have claim to many ports and cities around the world. Italy would have claim to most of Europe, Northern Africa and Western Asia, while Greece could claim lands going as far as India. Mongolia could claim nearly a third of the Earth's land mass. China's claim to Taiwan and the 9 dash line is totally stupid. They demand historical adherence to their boundries from hundreds or thousands of years ago even though they are a totally different government and country that existed. They quite literally murdered anyone that had anything to do with the old governement and replaced it with a totally new country, treaties and economy. Lets just hope that one day, the whole international community will stand up and recognize Taiwan as a separate country instead of bowing down to China. It reminds me of Russia recently placing Alaska and parts of California on Russian maps because they were settled by Russians.

The Vetterli in this video isn't a model 1870, is a model 1916 or, better a Vetterli 70/87/16, that is a Vetterli 10,35mm model 1870 modified for clip loading in 1887 and again modified for the 6,5mm ammo in 1916. I hardly doubt that any of the original single shot, 10,35mm black powder model 1870 was still in active service in Italy by 1939.

Spain wasn't at war during WW2 it was a fascist country that was more aligned with Italy and Germany than the Allies, however technically maintained a fragile peace in WW2.
