WWE 2K17 - 5 Things They should Bring Back to WWE 2K17! After the great response to my first WWE 2K17 5 things video, it become obvious that there was, way more than 5 things that needed mentioning! So here i am back with ANOTHER WWE 5 things that should be brought back from past WWE Games.
All of the features in this movie were taken out from the next gen versions of WWE 2K16.
The features i have listed in this video are ;
General Manager Mode - You take the role of general manager, pick your roster and deal with contracts. As well as managing story-lines and finances, with the ultimate goal of winning the ratings war against rival brands. People say without the brand split this mode doesn't make sense, but with a little creativity this mode still makes perfect sense. It YOUR world. You should be able to pick which brands you want to face off against.
Road to Wrestlemania mode (RTWM) - These were basically custom story modes that were created for the game including cinematics and a very cool GTA style 3rd person view of backstage proceedings as you walk around and interact with various superstars.
Create a Finisher - Fairly Self explanatory -- the ability to easily craft your own custom finishing moves.
Story Creator - The story designer gave you the ability to make your own custom stories or download other creators stories. These were made using built in cut scenes, a feature that proved very useful for the WWE gaming creators community.
Fight in the crowd - the ability to fight in the crowd is a great little feature that adds that extra bit of brutality into your gritty intense universe mode matches

To be honest, I feel like that wasn't the reason why it was so fun. I feel like it was so fun because you could do mad stuff like throw people off of trucks and grab them while riding motorbikes. Then again, I didn't play HCTP until last year so maybe I'm missing something.

I agree with all the things in the video that wwe game creators should bring back. I definitely miss the create your finisher and story concepts. Even though they took a long time to deal with, the idea of creating my own story and finisher MY way was awesome. There also used to be a create your own taunt or stance in earlier games. I'm not sure which ones cuz it's been a long time but there were a couple of wwe games where you could create a fighting stance or pick a fighting stance or create a taunt. Those would be cool to bring back as well.

tank stephens it is not. Universe Mode is basically Exhibition in a Matchcard. Nothing u can do there. In GM Mode u had to care about Ratings, Wrestlers Health, Wrestlers Hapiness, Money, Matchquality and Rivalrys. You had a competition.

The Problem with all this is just that you are in Controll of every single Show so basically you are Vince McMahon in Universe Mode, but i want to be in the controll of 1 Brand and compete against the other one. I really miss the Starsrating for my Matches. In Universe Mode you play the Matches but all that happens ist a result without any valuation for it. It was great to get your own roster, rivalries and Champions to kick the ratings of your competitor. If 2k would give us both. Everythiing would be perfectly fine.

In my opinion, combining General Manager mode, Career Mode, WWE Universe mode, and unlocks would be one of the best things that could happen to these games. You create a series of matches and promos that evolve in the same way that WWE Universe mode did, and your show generates WWE Cash. You then spend that cash on new arenas, characters, costumes, and so on. Any time you play an exhibition match, you can optionally include it as part of your General Manager-Universe mode or keep it as a separate one-off. It would even be possible to incorporate Road to Wrestlemania and genuine Story modes.

I can't remember which game it was but there was a first person free mode in career and you could even go out into the street. It was pretty cool. I used to love the ability to go through different parts of the arena during a match, even at one stage you could cross the road and take the fight into a bar, that was awesome.

The entrance ramps for Mania look super small. 2k looks amazing this year they just need to make certain things bigger and better. The entrance ramps/stages sometimes are way to small. The lighting at Mania this year was bright but in the game it's too dark. The brand split was a little too soon so the logos and stages aren't fully updated so in the meantime they should create DLC's for that. We also need backstage free roam for Universe mode, Cena to talk or have phrases before he runs down the ramp for his entry, and for the wrestlers to talk or say phrases like "shut up" or something to the crowd or their opponent.

Instead of RTWM lke SVR they could include the backstage roaming things in my career mode, where you can roam around and interact with other wrestlers and divas and proceed your career the way you want!!! that would be a refreshing change and another feature that they could add is the crowd reactions based upon which you are pushed and story is advanced as heel or face!!! if crowd hates you, you could be forced to turn heel slowly and based upon the reaction you will be given the story line by the authority!!!

I agree with this list. All these features were always great additions in the franchise and, therefore, should come back to give the fans a new level of enjoyment. These modes can also be improved upon since most of them came from a different age in these games. There are many many possibilities to go about this, and I am looking forward to what 2K has to offer this year. And personally, I would have added a more free experience in backstage brawls(Isn't it in 2K16? I forget.). For example, let's say they can give us more interaction with things backstage so we wouldn't get bored too quickly. :)

I totally agree. they should bring back those elements, fighting environments. The showcase should added more so that the fans would feel more fresh when playing in WWE2K17. Plus the entrance video, lightning, minitron should update looks more real than we watch on tv. example, randy orton, minitron flash lightning should hint in right timing when the music play. And don't forget, his entrance did not update since wwe'13. should bring back the entrance from SVR2009. I hope they will fix this problem as i concerned.

Road to Wrestlemania was cool. GM mode was my most played mode back when they had it. I liked doing the draft and competing against the other show. I wish they would also include every wrestler that ever held a title in WWE/WWF. Superstars and Divas. It would be cool to have unlockables. Like while playing GM mode, every month that you outperform the other show in ratings, you get to choose one past champion to unlock in the game, that could then be used in the future, or if you continue GM mode, when the second year's draft comes around, all of the unlocked wrestlers join in the draft. Or at least have them available for DLC for $1 each or something. The Divas division especially needs it. I want Trish, Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool, Maryse, Mighty Molly, Lita, Melina, Victoria, Mickie James. For Wrestlers, I want old school Kane with his mask, Psycho Sid, Diesel, Razor Ramon, Triple H, Stone Cold, Both the evil Undertaker and the biker one, well I'm sure you can see that it's mostly Attitude Era wrestlers, and a little after that. I would really like to have a GM Mode leader board to compare my show's monthly ratings against my friends' ratings.

I think that all aspects of create should return such as different camera angles, custom titantrons, stock entrance from previous superstars, and more stock entrance themes. Also definitely create a story, and definitely a remastered version of all moves that have been in the game for at least 5 years because when I try to use for example the flip piledriver (Canadian destroyer) it looks terrible compared to any new move that has been updated

I've only been playing the Mycareer mode. I think they could take the season mode and combine it with MYcareer it would be awesome. I think they should put in a better more intelligent weight detection thing, like I created a 7ft 2in and possibly 500lbs man and Kalisto was able to life me up for a suplex. Like yeah that'd never happen. I also think the game could be modeled after Figtht night, instead of just giving yourself a six pack you have to train, the more you train the better you get.

Also for the story mode or whatever I thought about what this video said about WCW. What if instead of doing a WCW they pay homage to the old WCW games and have like a WCW vs the World or NWO inside the game this is where you can achieve unlocking WCW guys. What they could do also and do a fantasy story. Like when DX invaded WCW they could spin that and show would could have happened had DX gotten into WCW. They would lead to DX vs NWO. I always thought the Invasion storyline should have used this as the reason for the invasion.

playing all the old games with gm mode I miss it more but 2007 is. by far the best gm mode. 08 made it cheap with being a able to get your stars to 99 popularity fast. 2006 was bad in terms of only being able to have a 1vs1 rivalry.

+VenoumusGammer the great thing for THQ is that All svr games were for ps3,ps2,psp,nds soo anyone can play them on pc. i personally have wwe svr 2006,2007,2008 featuring ecw,2011. 2011 is the best for CAWs soo i can create lesnar or aj styles or any superstar that is not in the game. wwe svr 2007 is just awesome. a freakin game....awesome match mods,awesome career mods,awesome superstars,awesome titles,everything at wwe svr is great. wwe 2k sucks....in all games that 2k has publishet for wwe only wwe 2k16 is good. 2k14 & 2k15 sucks. 2K removed a lot of entrances that THQ kept for superstars and divas that were already retired plus they removed match types which was so unnecessary because people likes to play them I'm hoping for THQ to take WWE games back one day they're so much better than 2K .

I don't feel like RTWM needs to be back in the game at all. The Career Mode is the needed addition for the franchise and needs to stay in there for the rest of time. But maybe the Career mode could be split were you are able to be either a Superstar or GM. Also backstage brawl/ Free roaming go hand and hand n both would be a great addition back into the series. Story creator is what got me subscribing to a lot of WWE game youtubers is something I'd love to see back too

SIMPLER SUBMISSION SYSTEM JEEZ! also idk if they had fixed it but before the hop to next gen...that 2K with Daniel Bryan/The Rock had the CAF glitch...it would never work...so maybe thats why they scrapped it you can still GM mode since they have NXT now...it could still be Smackdown vs Raw vs NXT....you just have to put on the best matches if you are the GM of that brand or even the overseer of the whole talent and make sure that ratings go up for all 3 all year long and you get a report at the end
