Reversal icon glitch; if you go into replay or highlights or whatever and exit out it resets the hud so the icon will pop up again.. It's a pain, love your content bro, and personally trying to stay patient with this game and see what the patch does. I'm just replaying story mode until it releases because if I have to redo My Universe multiple times in gonna have a fit lol

getting through the harper and rowan handicap match made me really pissed off, I don't know how my buddy got through it, cause I couldn't beat it. But as we were going through the rest of it I started to realize that all of 2k's time and effort went into getting this looking good or correct before all of the other stuff, even though the hit detection and wrestling was god awful itself. Plus the controls should be allowed to be converted to previous games, they were a lot easier to get used to then the new ones.

My issue with this mode is that Triangle= Block doesn't show up half of the time once it does appear it will return like 20 minutes later and let add that I have all my blocks... and my 2nd objective to this match doesn't work this game is broken and there is no fixing this if they even come out with 10, 20 or even 30 patches...

The Rowan & Harper match was the worst. I was playing on Legend and had to put it on Easy to beat it. The frame rate was ass and I couldn't reverse at all regardless of whether there is a prompt or not or how much I tried to time it. And the reversal prompts in the game are terrible in general. Sometimes they pop up, sometimes they don't. Sometimes you reverse with no prompt, sometimes you don't reverse even if there is a prompt. Certain moves can't be reversed like aerial attacks. The AI can reverse though lol.

I'm actually stuck on that damn handicap match. I don't know if it's the glitches or what that's causing it, but in my game that match is literally unwinnable. It can't be done. What's really frustrating about it is that you can actually adjust the difficulty of the match within Bump In The Night, but it doesn't matter. The difficulty has no effect on the match at all. It's the same thing on every single attempt: - Bludgeon Brothers reverse literally 99% of everything I throw at them, like they have unlimited reversals. - They stay too close together and seem to be operating on the highest possible A.I. difficulty setting no matter what I do with the Gameplay options - making it impossible to generate even the smallest amount of offense on one without being destroyed by the other. - Even during the one or two glimmers of offense that I do get, neither one of them will ever stay down, not even for a nanosecond. It's like they have unlimited stamina. The closest I've come to getting one of them to stay down for a second happened only because I accidentally stumbled into a glitch that caused Balor to rapidly beat Rowan with a steel chair repeatedly without stopping or ever throwing the chair down - without me even touching the controller. Even Harper couldn't break it up for a long time, and I just decided to let it happen. It went on and on until Rowan's legs and torso had been beaten completely white on the damage display. It was a glorious, happy coincidence but still didn't matter, as Rowan got back up and the A.I. no-sold the damage and I still lost horrifically. The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in one of these games. - As always, the reversal system for these games is complete sh**, and whether by accident or design, I have literally never been able to reverse a single move they throw at me, even when my timing is PERFECT. - For some strange reason, in my game/gameplay experience, they are constantly in healing mode, making it impossible to damage them enough to keep them down. - My button inputs cause Balor to do things I never put in commands for. This is one of the worst parts of the glitchiness of this game by far. How can I get anything done when ground grapple/attack commands just cause Balor to stand one of them back up on their feet (just one of many examples)? - They move stupid fast. - The hit box/targeting for human players is non-existent, but the CPU can grab me from ten feet away. - Finally, and perhaps most annoying of all: as has been the case in the last 2 or 3 games, fatigue/stamina for human players is the most garbage f***ing bullsh** ever. In this case, Finn Balor takes one good punch and I can't get him back to his feet to save my life. No reversals, no momentum, no stamina, no nothing, just DEAD. Why is that a thing in these games?!?! Who decided the CPU should be able to tank you with just a shot or two and completely wreck you for the rest of the match? Who's idea was it that you needed to have an act of God to make it back to your feet again?! Never mind the objectives, because they are actually not needed, as I've learned (and trying to complete them only makes this presently impossible match all that much harder). Nonsense like this is why it pisses me off that the Accelerator was dumbed down this year to affect ONLY the VC Store and nothing else (if you go back to 2K18 - the last time there was a Showcase DLC pack that this would have applied to - you'll see I'm telling the truth. The Accelerator used to unlock literally everything).

I quit on the handicap match, oh well I'm not into the horror genre anyway. The chances of me playing, with any of these characters and all that other junk is slim to none. No need to rage over it, I did enough of that in that in that other showcase mode, where they reverse every single move! Nonstop reversing, moves keep missing, and charlotte stealing my wins in multilady matches. I even failed the last woman standing because I beat Charolette flair with an Irish whip up the ramp, which I did that so I could set the table in corner, never expected to win with a move that not even a move.

I'm still trying to beat the Bludgeon Brothers round (So far it's been six shades of impossible. They literally couldn't have just given us the extra skins and gear rather than hiding it behind the towers. Not to mention failing to mention that before the game released). The targeting is garbage (It's especially bad in handicap matches and I can barely reverse anything even when pressing the right button at the right time. Not to mention the occasional lag and the gameplay overall being slow as fucking molasses compared to last year. Plus, they did NOT need to change the controls the way they did. There was no point. Like you said, the cutscenes are great and so far, outside of a few clipping and lighting issues, mainly in character creation, I haven't encountered any of the major glitches that everyone and their mother's been ranting about (not yet anyway). Plus the character creation itself is one of the few things I enjoy in this game. Haven't played MyCareer yet but based on what I've seen here on KZbin, that's at least a step up (progression system aside. And "Buzz" sucked as a name.) Overall, I think 2K just pulled a Bethesda on us this year with this game. It's not Fallout 76 bad, but it's bad...
