WWE 2K20 Create An Arena: All Options

*A lot of creators have been asking about Create an Arena and if there are many changes, therefore here are all of the options included in the mode this year.* Sadly some of the features we've seen in the in-game arenas such as Weather Conditions and LED Barricades, etc. aren't included, which I feel is a big missed opportunity. The new stage props are also few and far between, with the spooky prop additions feeling completely out of place when used in an arena environment 😕

But as a pro wrestling fan and also videogames our only other option is firepro wrestling and that game is dated and does not have the features 2k has. Me too since 2k took over the wwe games they've downgraded the games. I remember when season gave you the mystery wrestlers. You actually had tag storylines too. Plus i think the 2k19 graphics look better. I'm on the fence on picking up my pre order.

@@midnightreality2307 Pro Skater 5 removed all the new features introduced from Tony Hawk's Underground onward and had gameplay and graphics akin to Pro Skater 1 on the PS1. Activision didn't even include Create-A-Skater, and nothing can be patched in after the day one patch because the game was released on the last day they had the Tony Hawk license. In fact, if you had bought the physical copy only the tutorial would work until you installed the 9 GB day one patch that includes the rest of the game.

I personally feel this game should’ve been delayed. Doesn’t feel that different at all. I try hard to defend 2k but what I’ve seen so far doesn’t even compel me to buy the game. I’m 22 years old now and till this year I never felt that I could miss a first day release, this year I might have to wait it out. Not trying to bash at all, I know it takes a lot of effort to make a game. At some point you have to be real with yourself as a developer and game designer and ask is this the game the fans deserve. They didn’t ask themselves self that. Imo

Yes, postponing would be smart. I mean, as a software dev myself I am very ambiguous here. I know that losing a complete team (Yukes) during development time is a complete disaster. I feel sorry for VC devs, because the have probably a very hard crunch time, delayed deadlines and couldn't get CAC into the game in time. developers or graphic artists or game designer are not in charge when they think they should move the deadlines. Management is (and always will be, mostly 2K and WWE here). From customer perspective I am disappointed, sure. I am undecided if the current game is worth a full price (ATM I would say: no), especially when I am more focused on creations instead of the latest roster.

I like the idea of delaying an unfinished game, but the only way 2K could do it is if they negotiate with WWE about their contract requirements, or else they'll risk breaching their contract with them and they seriously wouldn't want that to happen.

Technically Bump in The Night doesn't count because it's nothing "new", it's just a new arena and alternate versions of superstars in the game, but it doesn't nothing new to the Creation Suite, no new mechanics.

Idk about you guys, but I feel like these things would make Create an Arena so much better since I use this mode a lot: • Ring banners (to give a more authentic feel to the classic arenas) • Announcer’s Table Options (being able to choose from the Attitude Era style announce table, to a simple table for ECW w/ an option to have a cloth on or off, and the current style announce table style. Also being able to set the table to either the side of the ring or a different part of the arena would be nice) • No placement restrictions (having the ability to move the arena parts to virtually anywhere you’d like and also being able to add more than one arena wall to create an ultimate arena. The wall parts shouldn’t be limited to just one. The header parts shouldn’t be limited to just one. Maybe 3 at the most) • Options to change the color of the lighting from the match menu if you play in a created arena that has custom lighting. For instance, if you create a custom Hell in a Cell arena and you only want red lighting in the ring and the rest of the arena to be lit another color, you can select that option instead of having to be stuck with it from the Create an Arena mode. • Attitude Era ramp texture (See RAW is WAR ‘98 arena. : so that way we don’t have to use textures) • All versions of weekly shows in the mode as arena parts: RAW ‘93, RAW ‘95, RAW ‘98 (with option to turn off WWF sign at the entry way to create ‘97 arena), RAW ‘00, and the ability to edit the banner on the RAW ‘98 arena template so it can be corrected to include “Attitude” under the WWE logo. • Different lighting fixtures for the stage area • miscellaneous parts for the side of the stage when creating Attitude Era arenas (like how SmackDown 2 had speakers and stuff on the side of the stage) • Inclusion of all weekly show logo including retired ones like Velocity, Heat, Saturday Night Main Event, etc. • Improved stadium size to make WrestleMania like events feel like WrestleMania. Maybe even make the ramp slightly longer so it doesn’t feel like a regular arena show. • Have: weekly show venue size, smaller weekly show venue size, NXT venue size, basement venue size for ECW, keep the high school gym but be able to edit the WWE logos, keep the WrestleMania 9 style outdoor arena, add in the Japan Hall, the Japan Dome, the baseball venue, the Mexico plaza venue, and maybe include 1-3 different larger venues This is just the tip of the iceberg for what Create an Arena can be

As someone who loves creating stages, it really sucks to see this has not been updated in the past 3 games. This was honestly the make or break after seeing all the disappointments of this game. Hopefully another company makes a good wrestling game so 2K will do better, there's so much that could make this game better, A lot of these SPORTS games are copy and paste every year, it's because they come out every year! a lot of things i liked about WWE games they took away 😒😒😒 there's a lot of match types that are missing, they put the legends in the game so it would be good to see some old school match types and some new ones that never made the game, like dog collar match, haircut match, casket match, Amberlance match etc... we should be able to fight all around the arena including up the crowd stairs and the concession stands area , we should be able to walk in locker rooms to start feuds, we should have custom soundtracks, we should have a create a fan feature, i would love to be able to control my character entrance from the backstage all the way to the ring, if i'm a face i can dap fans or if heel taunt them, the fans should react to the wrestlers when they get close to them, like reaching out their hands, and patting them on the back, i wish they would just make a legends game because they do not fit in with these new guys today, and they keep putting the same old legends in every year, there's so much that could be done to make the game fun, until another game comes out and rivals them, we will get the sdame game every year.

This might be the last game in the series that I buy, I just can't forgive the copy and paste job they did this year. The hair is terrible, universe mode has only been slightly updated, mycareer doesn't interest me, the physics have absolutely no improvements, the graphics are downgraded and there seems to be little to no redeemable qualities in what should have been a good game. This year is definitely a miss for me, a massive disappointment to what is usually my most played game of the year. Can only shake my head and say that I think it's about time we got a different game developer to make these WWE games, and do them every 2 years instead. This shit is not acceptable. Just release a game every 2 years with free GTA online style updates to keep things interesting during the time between games. But of course that will never happen because much like other game developing companies they don't give a shit anymore and just want our money. Fuck 2K.

Some arenas when downloaded will give a huge white half the screen rectangle when popping up the venue location or the name announce of a superstar I cannot for the life of me find where this option is set to get rid of whatever broken image is causing this. I think 2k is doing this shit on purpose just to see us be pissed off, They damn well know if they added all these cool arenas in Mycareer that people would want to use those venues and parts in Create Arena especially since they Heard us last year via Twitter constantly tagging them to give us new stuff and venues for that mode but instead of giving us what we wanted they spent whole fucking year doing nothing but adding Zombies, Changing the controls, and breaking the game & hair physics all year. All of this could of just been a DLC Or Patch for 2k19, they really need to stop yearly games cause there not improving it that much. It's too point where it's best to start skipping games or stop buying WWE 2k games all together. So this why they been so quiet about game this year cause they knew it was a downgrade.

I'm just disappointed in the game as a whole this year. I was looking forward to playing it with the same control scheme as last year, they took that away, then I hear about all these timing issues in the game where you can't hardly even hit your opponent with any moves, the bug issues. It all just sounds like 2K rushed it this year and said, "Welp guys, here ya go, this is what you get this year, deal with it." I really hope this is not part of the final build, but if it is, then I'm saddened that this is what the 2K games have come to. I'm still going to get the game, but I don't think I'll enjoy it near as much as I did 2K19, which I still play.

sadly Yukes left half way thro development which meant 2k had to redo a lot of stuff in a short amount of time. if Yukes cared about the fans then they would of stayed until the game had finished then left.

This game is so out of date and it’s not even out yet.... my 2k19 is more up today and it’s looks no different they just updated outfits and added “couple” of new superstars there so many things missing and they won’t even patch them in to the game to make it just abit better
