I'm legitimately surprised they haven't taken to the "Rock Band" method of offering more WWE music for download that wouldn't be represented by a superstar in the game. Their entire library, available to purchase for $1.99 each and they don't have to worry about putting all of that music on the disc, so they only have to pay for server storage to download from.

You just play it in the Spotify app, the game automatically notices it and turns off game music. It would be basically pointless.

I agree, but it does need fine-tuned. It was a mess when it was used back in the Smackdown vs Raw days. But if they did it I'd love to see it back with the same setups (Normal finishers and diving finishers), but a thing for submissions as well. And an elimination system after each choice, so someone can't do something like a Batista Bomb with six other moves added on.

That's not a bad idea. The way I do it is I have a junk drive plugged into my ps4 and whenever one of my custom characters come out, I just hold down the home button and play the custom music from the Recently Played list.

I don’t know how this would fair with the console restrictions, if there’s any. But my guess would be a communication between 2Ks servers, and the Spotify servers. So if you’d want to use Spotify, (it’d be maybe a browser pop-up if you can’t use it system-side???) which prompts you to login, and once you’re connected then the Spotify servers sends the track information to the 2K servers which is displayed on your create an entrance screen. Once you’ve chosen your song, then it’d fades out any in-game music audio and plays the song automatically from the Spotify feature/app on your console like it currently does on PS4. I don’t know anything about the technical side, this is just a guess/me rambling.

2k should just do what MLB the show does. Make it possible to import music off of a usb drive into the game along with a basic audio edit that mlb also has. For cutting the songs to play at certain spots. What sucks is that this feature, (like GM mode) used to be a feature that was already in game. On 360 if you had music on your HDD you could use custom tracks for entrances. Makes me miss SVR days even more.

The fact this hasn't been a thing since the jump to Next Gen (Current Gen) is such a missed opportunity, I am puzzled why no one at 2K has thought of this, its such a necessary feature for their creation suite. Only thing I would think they would do if they did implement this is the necessity to have a Spotify Premium account for using music outside of the WWE Spotify library. That way Spotify can profit from it, as can the artists. But yes I have been saying this for years and it would really make 2K20 the must have game. That plus having more than 1gb of download (creation) data and doubling the image limit

2k needs to let u choose your own menu soundtrack from Spotify I think that would be cool cause then you can load up the game and hear your favourite song every time but in 2k19 u hear that shitty passion song EVERYTIME I’ve turned menu music off after hearing that song

In 2019 choosing custom music should NOT be a problem at all. I still don't get why the PS4 or Sony doesn't allow us to save music on the console.
