Luke was doing a lot of "big moves" in season 1, like signing legends, booking huge stipulations for normal shows etc. and it gives an illusion of him having more money or options available while Pete just plays smarter, books better logistics and buys good power cards when they are available. Small changes like these make a huge difference (also Pete, when he can, doesn't book heel v heel). Also charity promos.

I think I’m going off the hype they produce in the videos, Pete saying he has no money, but when Luke was booking his show I noticed he had less than Pete, the amount of “rompleted civalries” Luke was hyped up about. And when he booked an extra charity promo I thought he’d done it. But when it came to the it, Pete’s still number 1… even recovered from Tempest’s slaughtered show

Pete utilizes the modes mechanics better. He focusses on everything - logistics, match variety, card structure is better, books more title matches on TV, understands the power cards better, etc... Luke plays it a bit too realistically, builds everything to PPV's (which can work) but never really goes all in for that strategy to pay off. I hope GM Mode improves next year cos it's mechanics are very limiting. The foundation's there for it to potentially be good, but it would be nice if you didn't need to book like Bischoff on smack to win it lol

The reason that I think Luke couldn't make it to no 1 is that pete had booked better logistics but luke didn't....pete booked the 3rd option...but luke still chose 2nd ones

I think this is the same thing that prevented him from getting to No 1 last season when he had a really great 2nd PPV overall but still didn't beat Pete.

The game changer was the logistics for Pete. The reason why Luke lost was because he didnt buy the light effects level 3 which was available probably in the last week. Pete booked it and also applied a Power Card to it which saved him money. This was Luke's show to win. But Pete pulled it off.

That wall of charity promos... lol I haven't played this for a while, but I generally used some of those promo slots at PvPs to set up my next rivalries. Gives a bit of breathing room to get the next cycle up to level 4 rivalries.

My advice for luke would be to have booked a tag match with brock/Lee vs Nakamura/Cedric to add variety and take off a bunch of tables matches for variety. Save the money and buy logistics to build the show quality up. You've got this mate be more HHH and build up the tag division 👍 great episode guys

Smackdown's power card is really proving it's power this week. The higher popularity SD gave made matches more stars more consistently. The veto star power from Raw didn't do much because Tempest just made random matches.

Luke: What am I doing wrong Also Luke: booking two tiers 2 logistics, one tier 3, and one tier 4, and gets a show logistic of 12/30 Meanwhile Pete: books all tiers 3's, and one tier four, and gets a show quality of 17/30. So Pete's show had 10% better quality which attracted more fans. This is the same mistake you made last time Luke, please buy higher tiers for show logistics because it will make or break how many fans a show can pull in. For example, the advertisement you booked gave you a thousand fans less off-rip than what Pete booked. So you can have the exact same card, and get the exact same results but Pete would still beat you because his advertisement logistics give him more fans than you.

Luke my guy you basically pulled a TNA lockdown where every match was Tables match. In the game after the first two they start getting bored of the stipulation matches try mixing and matching. Aside from that I'd say you'd have a wrestler for advertising and keep trying! Rooting for ya this season!

I think the thing keeping like off top is not looking at the logistics. Pete had an A for match quality and C for show quality. Luke was B and D. Those ratings seem fairly important

Pete gets fans but no money with one promo spot left to get money. Pete fire your most expensive superstar then use the money to build with the roster you have which should be headed by Bailey and get one or two cheap wrestlers. Luke, you may get a PPV bonus but variety of show gets more longterm. Also, Luke you need money too which comes from advertising and progression. As the game progresses, you need to spend more on arena, crew, lighting , and advertising. Don't worry though, Pete hasn't figured it out yet either.

Luke Lost because yes, he didn't put any logistic (he uses the power card, but didn't book logistic) You see at the end that Luke got a D while Pete got a C. Also, the game reward variety. Luke put 5 single match, 3 were single women match, 2 men match. While Pete book both tag title (so a tag match for men and one for the women) even with 3 normal match, he still have variety in his show. 5 tables single match got you Penalized. He got B while Pete got an A. Finally, you should build you feud on the PPV with the promo. The reason is that you should always have 6 rivalry ready to go before a PPV (reason is you never know when an opponent veto a star.)

I think the hardest thing to grasp about this game is that it has a weird mix of real life and game logic. Of course a card of all table matches/charity promos will be a meh show, because it would in real life’.. but also… Of course you can cheese the rivalries by signing only Bruisers & Fighters, it’s only a game.
