WWE 2K23: How To Unlock *SECRET* Cutscenes In WWE Universe Mode

In WWE 2K23's Universe Mode not all cutscenes are listed in the cutscene selector. You will have to do specific things to select certain scenes. Here's a quick guide on how to find some secret scenes.

Good. This is as close as we'll get to Story Designer again. The old Universe modes felt restricted and you can only get what they gave you and when you did change things, you wouldn't get cutscenes. It's nice to have some freedom for once.

I like the undertaker specific scenes but they could’ve taken it a step further and let you choose what finisher you wanna hit in the cutscenes. For example that last scene could’ve been an “attitude adjustment betrayal” where you select your finisher from a drop down menu

That sounds cool but I hope you do understand how much work that would take. They'd either have to splice a cutscenes with a normal finisher animation or make a unique animation for most finishers which is a ton of work.

They should make more signature superstar specific cutscenes like with the Undertaker. It's good that they are making more cutscenes but I feel this will get old quick seeing the same cookie cutter cutscenes and animations over and over again. Hopefully the can give us some updates

Though this may feel old inevitably. Having a choice is definitely the right step in the right direction. I think it's gonna be similar to their version of MyGM in a sense that they will simply stack more stuff, features, and cutscenes as the series progresses.

Hey how do I get the money in the bank cutscene? I had edge become mr money in the bank and I also gave sheamus the world title, I put them in a “very high” rivalry but when I go into the options for rivalries there’s none there. I did remove the universal title and give sheamus the world heavyweight championship, so could it be that?

I'm not sure but in WWE 2k22 I did that, started a rivality (1vs1) then each week they started to become allies, and at the PPV the rivality ended up with a Tag Team match (both superstars vs a random tag) after win the match they celebrated together and became automatically an official Tag in my universe mode, so I hope that options and cutscences are there 🤞

Little late, but all of these require the rivals to be allies at the same time. I got it when I got an Edge and Rey Mysterio rivalry. What intensity I’m not sure.

still the same boring stuff. universe needs more than just rivalry scenes. it needs backstage scenes, forming tag team and faction scenes, getting a manager male or female scenes, feuding in a manager/romance scenes for a wwe diva etc... just to name a few, stuff that made games like the early smackdown games fun and enjoyable to play over and over and give it more season mode flow. superstar mode in universe can benefit from this as a text based season mode with stat racking not just for the chosen wrestler but for the whole rosters.
