Here’s my working theory Since there’s no gm gable simply decided he wanted to be on the match card so as the usos and mmm were on the ring gable snuck up and took out the usos and mace from behind setting up a 1 on 1 between gable and mansoor

Make sure you check the rivalry actions you don't set up yourself. I'm guessing the game had one set between MMM and the Usos where one of the Usos sent out Chad as a replacement.

So after Solo lost... Roman called a family meeting causing the Uso's to forfeit the tag match to MMM so Chad came out and demanded a match against one of the two, Which ended in a loss for Chad because Otis came out and interfered... That's my head canon to that random match swap

Ok so if you haven’t figured it out yet, the Rivalry actions tend to change the match if a certain action is selected, for example it could be MMM versus the USOs but the action is for Mansoor to attempt to leave a one on one match early and Jey USO stops him. This turns the match into a one on one with Mansoor against a random opponent. Free Mode helps avoid this

There is something new this year where you cand edit those rivalry cutscenese before you go into the match, especially if it is the start of a new rivalry. So if you don't want to see the same cutscenes again and again or if you have something in mind maybe edit it before you go into the match? Also, it may not be a good idea to have things like contendership matchs be rivalries especially if you don't edit the cutscene before the match.

The Usos attempted to face off against Maximum Male Models in a tag team encounter until Man.soor’s juices became so titillated, he completely obliterated his opponents. Ma.ce fled the scene as Chad Gable arrived to shoosh Man.soor in the attempt to un-titillate him. You can’t tell me none of this didn’t happen. Grayson Waller attempts to be the next guy to take on Roman Reigns. Reigns looked as intimated as a lion staring down a very loud, Australian house cat. Austin Theory, apparently the world’s greatest masochist, locks up with Sheamus to determine Kofi Kingston’s opponent at Backlash. The Celtic Warrior took A-Town down, carving out his path to the pay-per-view before initiating a post-match beatdown on Theory. Many Brogues were kicked that day.
