Tbh I’m impressed, most are upset about how some of them look but I noticed the difference, a lot of people in the game from 2k22 had either a facial template from previous games because some of the roster wasn’t able to be there like Bayley and Kofi. Some of them had small things they had to fix such as to darken, lighten, or tan the skin like Bobby Drew etc.

2k22 - It Hits Different 2k23 - Even Stronger its in the titles, its gonna be the same type of game but better, to be honest i dont think we needed a 2k game this soon, 2k22 is good but its outdated. thats the only reason why their dropping one this soon, they should of took 2 years to work on the new game like they did with 2k22. but theyre too lazy to continually update our rosters with entrances, names, and changed looks. so we're stuck with a wwe game every year now with some tweaks but same game really. like the other 2ks

Actually the 2k22 one is based on her look from RR 2021 so it definitely looks very similar to the real life but Liv done that only once and her normal look is like the 2k23 one with no dark eye makeup

I think the reason why the models don’t look too improved was they finally got things right with 2k22 and I think a lot of that was to do with the fact they got 2k20 so wrong it was a wake up call like “hey we f**ked up, let’s get the fan base back” I mean we were finally getting some free reign with create a wrestler *shout out to whatsthestatus* The problem is bringing out a new game every year, no need Take a tip from the GTA team!

Not sure why they gave Liv Morgan a default looking black outfit, with no logos or other colors whatsoever. It's almost like they didn't even try with her outfit. That girl comes out in multi colored outfits, not no bland black outfit.

I really wish they'd figure out how to make it so the belts don't look so awkward on the wrestlers. They are always too big for the characters and either float over the shoulder or around their waist. Plus, it's really strange how Charlotte's jacket morphs through the belt when the ref takes it off.

@@jaybsproductions9068 totally agree. The character models in 2k19 were great imo. Bayley looked perfectly fine in 2k19. Obviously 2k20 was a shitstorm but it seems like instead of simply going back & building upon 2k19 (a game which everyone loved) they switched to building an entirely new engine from the ground up in 2k22 which is probably why that game took so long to release. Someone who plays these games casually probably won’t notice or even care about the changes they’ve made but I put a lot of hours into 2K19 and the changes stand out. And not in a good way. The entrances are nothing like we’ve seen in WWE games before (camera hasn’t moved as much in any of the previous installments yet alone the zoom ins, etc). The hair and facial hair models look in this new engine look worse almost as if they were done using the chalk tool on Microsoft Paint. And worst of all - they totally revamped the fighting mechanics. I don’t think we’ve seen a change this big in WWE games since SvR2010 > SvR2011 or SvR2011 > WWE12. At this point, I just hope WWE gets a new developer because 2K isn’t producing the type of wrestling games I grew up to love anymore. It’s unnecessary changes upon unnecessary changes and now they’re even locking stuff behind pay wall like you can only use certain character models in MyFaction. WWE2K games peaked at 2k19 and now it’s all downhill.

Ngl all of this looks more like DLC than a new game. Really hope they fixed the MITB mechanics. Actually all the matches that aren't normal 1v1 or tag team in 2k22 had issues. Really hope they spent more time on these aspects than just clean up some textures and update attires.

apart from Rhea who looks in fact much better, the rest look exactly the same with updated attires and maybe better lighting, same exact motions too. In their defense some models already look really good so no need to update them but still, you would expect bigger changes from a whole new game that can go from 60$ to 100$. These companies are becoming more and more lazy, re-using most assets and expecting people to play full price every year, which unfortunately, they do.

I'm not being fooled again. 2k22 was, in my opinion, garbage. The graphics were OK (still way behind what other games looks like) and that was the only real positive. The new combo system was terrible. They removed all skill, and instead turned it into a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. The character creation suite is totally boring now, I've lost all interest in creating the same characters in the same outdated suite that they have been churning out for years. I wanted more freedom and more options when creating a character. The animations are largely recycled year after year, they looks so stiff. A lot of the matches are just boring to play, and watching simulated matches is a joke due to the appallingly bad AI.

They need to fix the damn ropes and belts antialiasing shimmer all over it. Also the animations appear the same copy and paste!!!
