I was on the fence but watching this pushed me to buy it. Watched my first wrestling event this weekend since I was there live at WrestleMania 18 so it’s good to play this game to learn the new wrestlers and their moves

Awesome video! You are surprisingly one of the few that gave a comprehensive review of this game that’s more than 10 minutes. I’m new to the franchise since I haven’t played a WWE game since SvR ‘08, and find myself overwhelmed with all the content in 2k24 in a good way.

@@CobraaReviews I would love to see a ranked video because I am a bit curious of what your thoughts are on all the WWE and SvR games are. I know in the video you said you weren’t a fan of the gameplay in ‘24 but I find it to be a direct upgrade of SvR 07 which is my personal fav. But I never played 2k19 and keep hearing about it.

@@CobraaReviews 2008 is when I noticed features getting taken away. Also the popularity of Halo and COD of the time kinda made me drop wrestling all together. I skipped all the 2K wrestling games as well due to the deserved horrible rep that modern sports games get and just assumed wwe2k would follow suit. Then WWE 2k22 came out and that’s when I got my interest again and went all out on 2k24. The creation features alone sell the game for me.

Not enough in this game to say it's a classic. Season mode is stil the same can't play with wrestlers must be created wrestler. Presentation is not up to standards of other sports games. Commentary and especialy crowd is stil the same and annoying. Universe mode is not fun or intresting but repetative so is it worth it no

you can break the barricade but its not called an OMG moment but you can still do it. I liked 2k19, thought it was solid. This 2k24 is really solid as well. Probably best one in past 3-4 years. Great vid btw! I agree they are headed in the right direction, lots of great improvements and I too hope they keep things moving in the right direction.

I’ve attempted to break the barricade for 3 years now and succeeded once. It looked horrible and nowhere near as impactful as 2k19. Appreciate it though means a lot 👍🏻

One more thing that you could have mentioned is the lame boring commentary. Half of the time during a match they seem dead and only suddenly speak out when you hit. It really doesn't feel alive like the other games such NBA, UFC and upto some extent FIFA.
