With how the graphics are matched up and how gameplay is the same, WWE2K is mostly likely not going to stop with last gen. Think about when ps4 was the next gen and ps3 was the old gen you could see a major difference in the graphics and gameplay, but now with ps5 being the next-gen and ps4 being the old-gen, you can't see a difference.

Great video. I downloaded both versions and played mostly the ps5 version this week. I booted up the ps4 version out of curiosity and could not tell the difference besides the colored button prompts on screen. The load times and frame rate differences are subtle but consistent. The difference comes in when there’s more onscreen to render like the multi man matches. Very clear difference between the two.

Man ive had a ps5 since launch whencthey were impossible to get and aside from ray tracing and a couple of fidelity options with some games. The jump from ps4 to ps5 really only feels it has an impact with games offering performance modes with 60fps that you wouldnt get on ps4. Aside from that it feels like this generation of console has the smallest of improvements when you look at what ps1 to ps2, then to ps3 and even ps4 looked like graohically with each generation. Its near identical from ps4 to ps5 for 90% of things makes me regret my decision as theres hardly any reason to have a ps5 as the ps4 still will be getting support for years to come

I think the only difference I could spot from personal experience is how dynamic camera angles are handled. On PS4, anytime you do a move that changes the camera, the game shifts the framerate from 60FPS to 30FPS. On PS5, the game maintains 60FPS throughout the entire match, regardless of the camera angle. Otherwise, the biggest difference is really down to resolution end of the day.

Graphics are not dramatically difference. But that frame rate for gameplay, and especially the astronomical load times once you get created wrestlers and arenas/shows in there makes a huuuuge difference.

I Think 24 is the last year for ps4 games they usually stop supporting last gen 4 years or so after next gen is released, like in 2013 when ps4, xb1 they supported many ps3/360 games till 2017 that’s why u can find wwe and nba 2k madden games still releasing for ps3/360 in 2017 after that last gen was cut off, no doubt this is the last year for ps4 games as wwe seems to be the last game coming out for ps4 this year I don’t see any other big games cross gen coming this year

So the ps5 version is just a port of the ps4 version but running on 4k. This is ridiculous, I don't understand why the developers still create the games on old gen instead of the next one, I don't know if it's because is cheaper or easier (or both) but I really do miss those times when you really could see the graphic jump; for example, the difference between 2k15 on ps3 and ps4 was insane. Well...graphically the PS4 still looks great...PS2 had games from SVR 07 to 2011 back in the day...that's 5 games after the release of Xbox 360 and PS3 generation...kept going for 5 years...all of them were fun...so PS4 might as well get the game up to 2K25 or 2K26...looking at how many PS4s were sold...and the console is still available new and alot more affordable than the PS5...they should keep going with WWE and other sports titles on last gen...it's sport titles after all
