2K22 REALLYYY benefitted from a 2 year dev cycle. I feel this should be the norm for the WWE games, have them bi annually so they can be properly worked on. During the "off" year with no realise, we can have a second expansion pack, with DLC incorporating whatever changes happen in the WWE world to keep the game fresh.

2k19 still has an edge over 2k24 for me personally, gameplay is much more fun and the roster is leagues above 24s, 2k25 could definitely be the one to dethrone 2k19 for me though.

As great as that would be, Pat is very vocal that he doesn't have the free time to keep up with the recording schedule Michael Cole does. Plus don't blame him for this DLC, blame 2K and Take-Two.

The DLC gaps are strange… when they could forgo the “packs” and release a new character every month or 2, for season pass holders - and change the menu presentation to fit that character. Would let people feel like there’s more regular updates. Then sell the bundle at the end of each “pack”

I think rather than the showcase, 2k should implement a road to wrestlemania and maybe even a road to stand and deliver for nxt. I feel like it would really give the game a longer playtime between dlc especially with how deep they’ve been attempting to make myrise

A mode I would love to see added is some sort of Classic/Fantasy Match Up mode, where they could add matches for you to play each week that either let you reenact classic matches or play fantasy dream matches. Maybe you could earn MFP or alternate attires for wrestlers (even if they were just colour swaps in some cases). Have it laid out with a nice user interface and set the matches in era appropriate venues etc. Wouldn't need to have loads of custom commentary or showcase style tasks to complete. Just literally use the wrestlers they've already got in the game, and essentially give us a curated list of exhibition matches to play.

A quality of life feature I would love them to add, is the ability to create our own categories under the superstar list in Play/Exhibition. We get Male, Female, Champions, Custom & DLC currently I believe? Why can't I just make my own lists and add whoever I want to them? So I could have Golden Era, Attitude, Ruthless Aggression, WWF, WCW, ECW etc. It's awesome that we get such a massive roster in these games, but I find it incredibly unwieldy when I just want to throw together a match and look through who I want to use.

You see how much love the women in nxt get in the packs imagine people like Melina, mickie James, torrie Wilson just being sidelined because either they couldn’t get the rights or they were too lazy. Gotta remember this is 2K we talking about lol

It's the DLC spacing. When you have to wait like 5 months for the DLC you actually want, it makes packs like this feel worse than they are. A great fix would be to drop MyRise DLC, a joint men's and women's faction DLC or a tag story. It would keep people engaged through the long wait.

I would like to see 2k do an NXT Stand-alone game. There will be a decent size roster. The game will allow you to build a character and take that character to NXT. You can then import your character to the regular WWE game for the character to be available in the draft with the whole NXT as well being able to export to the WWE 2k main roster game.

2k24 might be my last WWE game for a while I like the game the franchise has become more like Madden and NBA I feel like I've bought the same game for the last 3 years, basically paid for a roster update and a few new match types. 24 is the best of the last 3 for sure but 25 is gonna have to be very different for me to buy it. I'm mainly a universe and gm player and gm only gets slightly better each year and universe has been the same since 2k16.

2K should only do 3 very big DLC Packs with updated attires, arenas move sets, “Persona/Retro Trons and Entrances, Showcase Bonus Matches, Road To Wrestlemania Mode type story packs, stars from WCW legends ECW NXT and Retro”Persona” Versions and drop them every 3 months until the next launch cuz this long wait time and short enjoyment time isn’t adding up 🙅🏽‍♂️👎🏽

Triple h vs Shawn for showcase mode would be so insanely great. Do the dx showcase, then the bitter rivals showcase, then the revival showcase of dx from 06-09 This timeline would be 97-04 mainly with 06-9 having matches like rated rko vs dx dx vs mcnahons and umaga Shawn vs Vince etc

I was all on board with the announcement of longer release windows for 2k24's DLC, because I thought that would allow the developers more time to focus on bug fixes and otherwise polishing the game. Given that CAWs are still bald more than a month later, I guess I was mistaken.

I miss Road to Wrestlemania. That mode was fun and having DLC with new stories would be great to see. One I'd push for is the Create a Wrestler Tag Team storyline. Called The Brotherhood. On the game being out every two years. That's a good idea. Gives time to brainstorm storylines that make fans happy. Also keep things not being in the past with theme songs, Gimmicks, and other stuff that by the time the game comes out isn't even in the real shows anymore.

Things 2k needs to add 1. Tag team turmoil 2. More focus on universe 3. Trios Finishers 4. Inter-gender matches, Rhea even said she wants this in WWE2k 5. Grapple system to start matches 6. 2k25 should have a "Greatest Intercontinental Champions" showcase. You have Gunther who broke Honky's record, You have Honky Tonk Man himslef, Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart, Steamboat, Rude, Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels, RVD So there's a lot of potential, plus some new characters, maybe bring some older guys like Pedro Morales or Don Muraco. Bring back Greg Valentine.

Due to the ongoing Lawsuit where it’s most likely Brock is the MMA fighter mentioned, WWE lawyers are very hesitant to have him in their product. Maybe once the lawsuit is over then we will see him again.

What I'd love to see added to MyUniverse are things like having an optional budget and fan counter, like in MyGM, giving you some way of measuring how well you're putting together the sandbox shows without having to go through the full gameplay loop of MyGM. More transparent/important stat changes too, affecting their actual rating, so we can have superstars jockey for position. Also, please please please please please, add the enhancement talent to MyUniverse. Sometimes, I want my shows to have midcard jobber matches, or a nice squash for a superstar, or even a surprise push of someone like Mr. Higglesby or El Generico etc etc. I know we can add our own (or downloaded) CAWs for this, but the game has some very entertaining enhancement talent already coded in for MyGm and MyRise, just let us use them in MyUniverse and Play as well.

I liked what they did in 2K16 or 2K17 when they had the Hall of Fame Showcase DLC where each Hall of Famer had one match showcased. That was cool and if WWE gets their Hall of Fame class locked in earlier then 2K could release a Hall of Fame Class pack along with the arena for the WrestleMania that just occurred.

Easy solution for these DLC packs and all the complaining about them. Have a store like Fall Guys or Fortnite does. Sell each character, moveset, bonus item on its own so people can pick and choose who they want. Don't want Boston Conner? Don't buy him. Don't want Honky Tonk Man? Don't buy him. But still offer a bundle price. 3 bucks for each character or 10 for all 5 of the McAfee guys. Something like that.

On one hand and as you mentioned most of us are SMFH 🤨about the wait thinking SEPTEMBER REALLY 2K! BUT on the other hand What if they are taking that Long wait to fix Most of the Issues we all reported? Can you imagine getting on THEN and EVERYTHING is fixed, ONLINE, UNIVERSE MODE, Add in SANTOS ESCOBAR SONG 🤔... You know To actually get this DLC right. I had a glitch happen where my game updated and my cm punk DLC was gone and had to re download it. He was my reigning world champ in my universe mode and had to reset him as my champion. He had like a year long reign before that. Mildly frustrating.

I think it’s “slowed down” through the year because they don’t give us older players or newer players, fun stuff; wrestlers who have NEVER appeared, a wrestling history compendium to unlock, etc. Hopefully combine all the older pre-2006 wrestling games. Also, and this is big, at least in my opinion. If you are going to have attire that we can use as CAWS; PLEASE let us unlock titantrons, entrances, and music if we put the correct attire on our CAWS for each wrestler. And have all this OFFLINE, or if it’s Online, AT LEAST let us use this for Offline mode if we can unlock it. I think all these options would make it FUN to unlock, rather than a slog fest that MyFaction is.

I wish 2K still did DLC Showcases for their games. The fact that skimmed out lots of RA WM matches is just annoying. If they were to make one (which they won’t but let me cope 💀), here are the matches they should probably include. Andre vs Big John Studd (WM 1) Bret Hart vs Yokozuna (pretty much ether of their WM matches but preferably their rematch for obvious reasons) Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart (WM 12) Steve Austin vs Shawn Michaels (WM 14) Batista vs Triple H (WM 21) Undertaker vs Batista (WM 23) Undertaker vs Triple H (WM 28) John Cena vs The Rock (WM 29 considering their first match was featured last year) Seth Rollins vs Triple H (WM 33) Charlotte vs Asuka (WM 34) Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns (WM 40 tho they probably will save that for next year assuming if next year’s showcase will be focused on Roman Reigns) There were some matches I thought about including like Lesnar vs Angle at WM 19, but I didn’t include considering Lesnar isn’t “100%” back in WWE

WWE 2k25 should have a MY GM Option where you can run one of the shows and have the cpu run the other, draft an entire from the entire game’s roster (instead of My Gm’s like 11-12 at max) and then have you compete against the computer for the entirety of the season instead of just 25 shows (and only like 5 PLEs) it would be much better and include brand vs brand Survivor Series matches too and Money In The Bank should include stars from each show and Royal Rumble as well and that’s also bragging rights for each brand if their star wins. I hate playing universe mode because I wanna just control one brand not the entire dang roster of stars, it’s too much and Universe Mode takes forever to setup

I wish they'd revamp stables/teams Instead of a tag and trio entrance/winning animation it should just be one animation and whatever combination of wrestlers you use would come out to the correct animation Really frustrating having guys doing wrong animations becaue you haven't selected the three intended

Persona cards have so much potential, it's something they definitely need to build on. MyFaction is almost there for me personally, faction wars is different but needs work, I'm fed up of multi man ladder matches that I'm always losing because of the dodgy AI. I think patience is definitely key to that mode rather as well as grinding, they need to balance the MFP gains to make it less of a chore though.

There's a lot of improvements needed for WWE 2K games have more longevity and make me want to play more. I'd also like them to add more names and nicknames. They have Jonathan and Jonathon, which are pronounced the same. I'd like to see them get rid of the duplicate names and put fresh ones in.

2k24 works for me, I created a universe which mirrors raw, smackdown and nxt and I have also introduced an ECW show where is it all hardcore matches etc. By turning off automatic rivalries you still get 1 week rivalries so not the same people fighting all the time. You also get random championship matches too across all the shows. Currently skipping most of the non championship matches, reading the rivalry news and then playing out most of the ECW matches in full. Sorry but I also play a lot of MyFaction, there I said it. Had a 28 minute ranked play match yesterday too. MyFaction also had 40,000VC and a diamond Braun Strowman for the live events using the Pat McAfee characters, so from that it is a good DLC.

I actually consider 2k19 to be the true end of the THQ era. 14-19 may have been 2k games but it was still made by the same team that made the previous games under the THQ brand.

My only problem is when your doing an 8 man elimination match some of the wrestlers gets glitched out and the wrestlers get stuck in the barricade it doesn’t happen often but sometimes it does happen

I always felt there was alot WWE games could take from arcade fighters.. Like when you load up you set ur fav superstar, arena, banners,and icon.. I like to see the towers return but more in the way of the living towers from Injustice (so think a bloodline tower or a superstars greatest match tower).. I want them to make universe the base game (in away) were there is story and active rivaleries going on and the commitantors talk about it while you freely play (make the game feel alive . I want fantacy match stories like they had in all stars (Austin vs Hulk).. Look I play 2k for the fantasy matches we cant get, I like to see other eras get 2k games like the golden era, the monday night wars etc etc

I don’t hate MyFaction I enjoy playing it casually I just hate that when you buy packs & get duplicates they give you 75 MFP or whatever it is. We should be able to sell cards to other players or even trade like FIFA

My favorite 2k games ever are 2k15, 2k16 and 2k24. (I didn’t get to play 2k14 and those for two games I listed give a lot of nostalgia to me because I grew up playing them)

i havent even gotten a quick match to finish with myfaction. its annoying. they need to just toss out the online features and focus more on the single player aspect of both myfaction and the base game (but keep community creations) because online has been broken for years. hell since they released it. its stupid that they are still putting time into that. when it barely works.

truly i just gotten back in to wwe2k games i got 2k24 few days ago and honestly i'm loving it i love the new referee match modes and the new matchs and new stuff to the game the last time i played a wwe2k game was back in 2016 2k16 before we all found out about Vince being a dirty old man, but he not getting are money anymore so i gotten 2k24

2k19 played a lot better than the current state of the game. More sim based, and had stuff like OMG moments that got taken out... Universe was broken, but it has issues which still havent been fixed... broken MITB as always, and still have problems, you didnt have to manually set divisions either (should be an automatic option!), and there still isnt a draft issue available. We also need an option to look at the results from past shows. I hate moving on from the PPVs then forgetting the results

A bit late but I would of like a championship mode and a Survivor Mode like No Mercy for N64 and a mall to buy with move and attire items. Smackdown Mall prices felt less Grindy than the 2K shop.

They need to give us the option of having a 40 man and even a 50 man Royal Rumble. We used to be able to have 40 men Royal Rumbles in WWE 12 or 13, then around 2K16 they just stopped. Not only that but it’s been 6 years since the Greatest Royal Rumble PPV/PLE. A 50 man Royal Rumble could be a lot of fun and I want to have it for my Universe mode.

MyGM is definitely my favorite mode. MyRise is a close second. I don't really play MyUniverse as much. I'm starting to like MyFaction but it can also be really frustrating. It's also such a pay to win mode. I haven't spent a single cent on it.

For me, 2k19 was the standard, it was perfect, no bugs or glitches, the dlc was good, and the story was pretty amazing. I really think they screwed up the persona cards, I think 2k25 NEEDS to either add them in with DLC or make them locker codes. I don't want to grind for them, I don't want to buy them, and the ONLY thing they proved with these persona cards are that they reminded us that they're a greedy corporation and I think they'll just double down on the prices for 2k25 for persona cards.
