Did a prep up match witb both pf them and cody won.. kinda like on smackdown.. mello is def a futer champion with brakker💯 both former nxt champs.. Everyone knows nxt preps them up for the main roster so they'll continue to be champs like they've been doing even on the independent circle.. look at cody.. he left for awhile to re invent himself in aew... then afterwards came back a full main eventer. He knows how to carry the company. Back in aew when he was the aew champ putting ppl over and over for the company.. here he's doing it more... Guess aj still wants one last phenomenal run with the belt... a big if the former champ wins it like he did with his late dad... once apon a time rip🐐 in an old vid i watched it.. he beat him. Being the first to beat a rhodes... if he beats cody... or mabe cody lives up to it more and takes it to aj styles and wins 🤷
