To cash in MITB in Universe Mode the MITB holder and the World Champ need to be in a rivalry. Then with Rivalry actions you can make the scenario on how they cash in.

Looks like when creating matches in universe you can only select people assigned to that specific show. I know you mentioned that in another video Matt. I’m glad to see it works. That helps a lot when booking to remember who is on which brand .

I wish everything I set up in the base game (i.e. tag teams, ratings, etc) automatically would transfer to Universe Mode without having to jump through hoops to get what I want. It should be more integrated IMO.

I did a quick superstar run from survivor series to mania, ended up in a feud with Rollins, and the feud ended at RR where we were both entries 1 and 2. That’s something I’ve never had happen organically before.

Hey The MITB cash in issue you're having I have too but I did find a work around. If you set a match up between the MITB holder and the champion and go to Rivalry Actions and you can set up a cash in that way. It will be a whole match between the champ and whoever you want, then either middle of the match or at the end your MITB holder will come out and cash in. Causing the correct cutscenes and everything. Hope this helps Matt.

Modifying Tag Teams/Factions from the Main Menu never applied to Universe Mode. Ever. You've always had to modify the Tag Team/Faction Roster in the specific Universe Mode you want to change them. Would it be nice if you had the option to save those changes to Universe Mode? Sure. But is it as big a deal as being able to save all the other changes to Universe Mode? No.

In order to have random cash ins you need to turn pre-match cash in down to zero and then put the other two cash in options all the way up to 100%. That’s been working for me

5:07 guys for mitb cash in just put the holder and champion against each other click right stick in for rivalry actions and then triangle for free mode then you’ll be able to choose opponent for the champion as well as setting up cash in

One issue I had before this patch, was whenever I would extend a rivalry after a PLE, I would be stuck with the PLE rivalry actions on Raw, Smackdown & NXT. I really hope that this has been fixed! 😭🤞

I find the ring announcer selection process like this is better that way one multiple brand PLEs u can have the selective ring announcer for each show brand announce that brands matches.

Hey did you know that there is special hidden commentary between CM Punk and the 2014 version of Brock Lesnar? If you download that version of him in the CC and put them two in a match, you’ll hear a special commentary for them!

Before this update I did have an instance where I built my own Wyatt 6 stable through the roster mode then went to do a MyGM session and when I spectated a tag match and they came out as a team

I get a glitch in Unicerse where I set up a custom video for a tag team but then when they enter with their manager, they just get a default video instead. No idea why.

Matt I’ve made universe mode really fun. All I did was create the universe as it is on tv. Gone in to every match and delete them. Put in your own matches. Don’t have any rivalries set up. Create your own. Use rival actions when you want specific action. It’s so much better. It’s not perfect but more fun than how it is right now. This also means u can have that triple threat etc at PLE

Universe mode, match tables. The update seems to have removed the mandatory hell in a cell match each ppv even if it's not in the match table. This is great but, normal shows still have mandatory normal 1v1 even if it's not in the match table.

They actually have separated rosters for universe mode now. Was very annoying trying to set matches with just 1 roster when everyone would appear to be selected with no way of telling what brand they were on

Cash Ins only work in rivalries for some reason and the AI to assign it to even work then you can change how and when the cash in happens.

I'm already in the habit of changing the ref in match options from last year so doing it with ring announcers isn't that big of an issue. They would need to add to the edit show menu which I guess isn't easy

Many people didn’t notice but they added back Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross’s tag entrance after removing it in the last patch. I found this out after I reset my universe tag teams in the previous patch

I am not sure, but for the cash in I think i plan a match between the mitb and the champ. In the rivalry thing i do cash in and then you can change the mitb with another wrestler and with your holder chsing in during, before or after the match !

I had a glitch happen today. I set up a new universe mode with Raw, ECW & Nitro. I used the universal title & classic women’s title on Raw. I simulated a years worth of matches. After that year it showed AJ Styles & LA Knight were universal champion & Michin & Charlotte were women’s champion.

Yep. Figures they were not going to address the biggest issue in universe mode, which is the rivalry cut scenes and the special guest ref not working properly when using an alt attire! Knowing 2K, doubt they will ever fix or even address this!

@lilosi445 when I use any wrestler from the in game roster and assign an alt attire to them in Universe mode, the rivalry cut scenes will trigger and play out but the wrestlers will be invisible. Sometimes, my opponent will be there but the wrestler that I'm using will always be invisible. So for example, let's say I have Cody and Seth in a rivalry and I'm playing as Seth in an alt attire, if I choose the rivalry action to have Seth ambush Cody post match with a chair, the cut scenes will trigger but Seth will be invisible so it will look like Cody is getting hit witha chair that is flying around in thin air. Same thing with the special guess ref matches in Universe. If I assigned a special guest ref attire to a wrestler, they will not come out in the ref attire that I assigned but instead come out with the default ref attire.

Question, i had an issue in my universe mode where one of my brands had only women’s matches on the card. PLEs are typically have variety on both brands but less championship matches. Is there a method of fixing that or a bug?

I have no idea why they made Cash-Ins exclusive to Rivalry Actions (which the Cash-In rivalry action doesn't work on PLEs so...) other than Announcing a Cash-in ahead of the show, the button to just Cash-In was not absolutely perfect but it at least made it available for whenever you wanted (unless it's a non standard 1-on-1 match of course). Also I don't understand why they won't fix the match table, I have no championship matches listed in it but every couple of weeks I get a title match on the show that I have to delete or else when I sim through one of my championships might swap hands when I don't want them to.

I tried the Roster/Universes thing, and it's not working... nothing carries over. I went to the roster and made my changes there. Went to Universes mode, and none of my player changes carried over. I tried import, multiple saves, just not working.

The "sprinkled in" championship matches are a bug. Leave the universe mode if one turns up and go back in. The match card will change

Considering that’s a line from the fantastic 4 comics and marvel is making another F4 film, no way that would clear legally. Be nice if the crowd at least said “best in the world” or something. Its not the same but its still a thing punk says and relates to punk, which is better than the nothing we get. Or maybe skirt the legalities and have the crowd yell “it’s jawdropping time”. Close enough for players to shrug and say “its maybe a sixth of the way there but (once again) better than nothing at all”.

To cash-in MITB the champ and challenger must be in a rivalry and even then you have to do it immediately otherwise the option to cash-in isn't available. I also havent been able to cash-in during a PLE without doing so in advance

i have! it pissed me off so much, i try downloading the AEW wrestlers and so many times i would get images on there bodies or even ppv logos on them, heck i had brock lesnar's profile picture on bryan danielson's chest! i got so mad with this i rebought the game on pc and had 0 problems! i guess ps5 just sucks for this, i would delete there 2nd attire to open more slots as well

i hate the mid week championship matches because at backlash my caw is champ then at night of champions im not because they had a championship match and they lost so if they could take that out that would be great

About the match card, it was working fine before the patch for me, but the patch broke it ( playing on Xbox One X ) . 😅 Using a customized match card, with exclusively 1 on 1 Normal matches, 'cause I edit every match individually manually anyway, so, by default I prefer to have the card include exclusively 1 on 1 Normal matches. Was working perfectly before. But today, I've had 1 Raw and 1 Smackdown already where the 1st match was a Tag Team match, even though it shouldn't be possible considering there's no tag matches in my match card settings ( I double checked the first time it happened ) . 😅 Edit: Oh, and speaking about match card. I had a bug for my Judgment Day PPV ( last Sunday of May ) . I've put it all the way up to 14 matches at the PPV. But when I got there, the game had only created 2 matches... 🤣 Which were matches for the world titles of each show. No other matches. Had to add the 12 missing slots myself. Had never happened to me before the patch, well, now that's a new thing apparently. Don't know if that's gonna happen on every PPV since I've only played 1 for now since the patch, I guess I'll see when I'll get to Night Of Champions ( my next PPV, the last Sunday of June ) . About the changes made to the superstars applying to Universe. Some of it works, but not all of it. The changes made in Options ( the Roster for Exibition ) does apply in Universe, which is cool. However, when in Universe, the show we assign the superstars to, doesn't save into others Universe saves. On my Universe save 2, I've put the Dudleyz on Smackdown, and Sandman and Punk on Raw, and assigned them to the titles divisions. I saved the changes to apply in every Universe saves. But when I switched to my Universe save 1, none of these 4 were assigned to a show, so I had to assign them to the selected shows again in save 1 ( as well as adding them to the titles divisions ) . The way we can pick the ring announcer in Universe is certainly tedious, but, at least we have the option to choose who we want now, so, that's still cool.

Yep Matt, cash in atill never works for me. Like at all. Also the continue to ignore that in universe . Your cards will not fully save when u exit the game. I finding I have to go back in to resign title marches etc. It still adds marches to the card I did not want. So, it's a constant general maintenance. I dunno if that us because you may or may not have customers characters, or attires.. but either way, it is a problem.

The interference payback doesn’t work properly - I’ve been Angelo Dawkins and had opponent call out Montez Ford to interrupt on his behalf or been Finn Balor and opponent has Dominick interfere for them

It seems like my whole universe in the WWE and everything else on the first screen has disappeared only thing I have is one on one matches so this update has screwed up my whole thing I have to play offline to be able to play my universe mode what the heck is going on
