Because Jim Johnston is an idiot who apparently mastered most of his songs in mono because he thought they were only going to be played on arena speakers and never on home stereos. A lot of the "classic" themes that are available on iTunes or Amazon for download are in tinny mono.

@@OfficalEzel2 first of all it only was used for 6, 7 and 8. Secondly i am talking about that strange mixed stereo waterpipe filter, not the tape quality cause of the age. Use headphones.
