The good thing with pushing LA Knight was they made him look strong, a lot stronger then most would've thought. But having him win like that wouldn't be sustainable in the long run. As long as that sucks (damn as hell you know I wanted LA Knight to win despite knowing the result) I mean it took 3 spears (one through a wall) & interference shenanigans to have LA Knight out for the count. And essentially Reigns didn't kick out of one BFT (The Rope break was even botched for some reason with the count). They made LA Look strong it was the best thing to do. Yes, soon enough he would be very good as champion, and the dude bloody deserves it for getting so over after being Vince'd when he moved up to the main roster. I just thought it was too early to pull the trigger. And it can fuel a resurgence for LA Knight to now target the bloodline as a whole and then come back for Roman Reigns when he comes back from his 6000th vacation. Just my take on it.

All the belts right now are held by bad guy wrestlers except for Seth Rollins but he is better at being a bad guy. 35:35 Maybe I’m weird but when cena lost and I watched him walk up the stage I got so upset I turned off my tv and stopped watching. I also didn’t feel like it made solo look scary or a monster, because he beat a man that hasn’t won in over 5 years. I will also not give solo any heat, because whenever I see him now I’ll just remember how I felt after that match which was just sad and be silent and like I don’t want to watch anymore. I know I’m being dramatic but that’s truly how I feel because cena is my all time favorite and is top 3 and he ain’t 2 or 3 of the goats.

I encourage you to all look at Bleacher Report's posts about Logan Paul winning the title, I think it's the exact reaction WWE wanted, which was "Damn I haven't watched WWE forever, I can't believe Rey lost!" If hes not trolling, whoch he very well may be, Sancho doesnt seem to really get wrestling booking. Im a bigger fan of LA Knight than almost every current WWE fan. Ive been a huge fan of his since he was in The Rising, as I recognized his mic skills from his very first appearance. Roman dropping the Title to LA Knight already would have been absolutely moronic. They have this insane build for maybe Cody to take it from him, which has been built for 2 years, or for him to surpass Hulk Hogan. Having LA Knight win would have been a great moment, but it only would have lasted a moment, because everybody would have quuckly realized that the build of The Tribal Chief ending with LA Knight, with a few weeks of build would have been completely anti-climactic. If they would have had Knight involved in Bloodline stuff for a few months then it may have made more sense, but a few weeks of build to a Title win is a total Vince move. Also, the formulaic way Roman wins actually aided Knight significantly. He hit 1 BFT and Roman had to be saved. That made the BFT look devastating, completely put over his Finisher as a true Finisher in a day and age where people kick out of Finishers all the time. He gained way more by losing than he ever would gave had he won

@SanchoWest Recently I think it may have been Whatculture but one of the big wrestling channels posted a graphic comparing the averages of defenses in regards to current Champions. Roman is currently averaging 1 defense every 38 days. Of course that's an average but its only slightly above normal, as 1 defense every 30 days is considered normal in todays day and age, which honestly surprised me. I think alot of us, including myself were having a recency bias that since he hasn't defended it frequently this year, it seemed like he barely defended it at all. And regardless of if it will live up to the hype, the answer is not to throw the belt on LA Knight with a few weeks of build. If they did decide to give the nod to LA Knight and had him continuously involved with Bloodline stuff until the Rumble or Mania, it would be outstanding because we'd get months of build of the rivalry between Reigns and Knight and the payoff would be much better than at Crown Jewel. If they don't decide to go with LA Knight and stick with whatever plan they got, that's fair and we could get a decent run for Knight with the U.S. Title that will hopefully culminate in him winning MITB in 2024 or the Rumble in 2025 to then get the World Title we all know he deserves
