Figures are now being released so fast now that many passionate figure collectors are having to leave a lot behind simply because of how fast the money adds up, I found the WcW Monday Night wars ultimate Hart and piper , and the new young bucks Walmart exclusive and it was 72 for the ultimate edition figs and the Aew 2 came to 51 almost 52 , that is 126$ on 4 figures that aren’t even main line figs, Walmart exclusives, I have a budget witch I thought was pretty decent for 250 a week max ( I am very blessed to be able to afford that , I am sure there is passionate collector base that is even on a tighter budget, the reason I am at 250 was playing catch up as I had fallen behind because of other expenses that come before my hobby) but the back to the territory 4 pack witch I think is actually a good value for what you get but that plus the my Walmart trip and trying to locate a Yoko ultimate edition ( for some reason I haven’t seen them at my targets at all yet, witch is weird because usually target exclusive is easy in my city and Walmart exclusives are stupid hard to find , but even at 250 with as fast as everything comes out trying to play catch up it is just very hard to get everything or even everything I really want and it shouldn’t be like that to keep current on a wrestling figure collection.I can’t imagine if I was a child now trying to collect the wrestlers to play with ( parents trying to afford these figs) as a bone cruncher figure federation child I was fortunate enough to get one every Friday ( sometimes maybe one throughout the week, saved my lunch money everyday to get extras and on Saturdays my mom would drive 90 miles round trip to go get the newer releases from the flea market that johnnys toys didn’t have yet , and lunch money and her buying me one I got 2 for 20$ , 10$ a piece because they were brand new releases, and Johnie’s they were 4.99$, I have a daughter she is into collecting squish mellow but not like I was into wrestlers as a kid , I know it would be hard to keep up with a kid who had a passion for them at these prices as a parent.
