The point is that it's the company's responsibility to provide good entertainment and they're not doing that. If they book better shows and present something that fans care about then, maybe, they'll get a reaction. Even if they went back to TV-14, they wouldn't be able to get away with some of the things they did back then. The world has changed. PC culture has taken over. If the fans are not having fun, it's the company's fault. Bottom line. That's like blaming the customers at the restaurant for the food sucking.

ive been apart of dead crowds, the crowd kills itself. im not saying everyone a follower, but when huge parts of the crowd are quiet, a lot of the time single individuals will cheer like me ill always cheer. but when they are spaced a few seats apart you cant hear us with all of the sound dampening humans in the arena. so it kills the crowd and people end cheering altogether. ive seen some of the best matches in wwe history in person and... people rarely gave a great reaction for moments. grand rapids trishs return to wwe. we had alot of cheers for that moment but again it was every other person, so it sounded like no one was cheering. we popped huge for that. detroit shane mcmahon return, same thing.

Unintentional silence is awful, but when a pro-wrestler can make a crowd go silent for a minute is awesome. Be a heel beating a face, or a shocking thing happening, but something is said on the promo that makes the crowd go silent and isn't awkward is awesome. All this intro to talk about Chris Jericho WWE debut, the crowd screaming like maniacs and the he says "I came here to save this company, ..., and from silent crowds" and the crowd that was extremely loud just went silent for a minute just because y2j had them in the palm of his hand.
