There were multiple problems with the "Towel Power" or "Whiteout" that WWE asked for: People buy merch at shows and often wear it - but there isn't that much white to choose from. The people in the floor seats didn't seem to have any towels. The towels WWE was giving out were super tiny compared to what the NHL and NBA give out. It looked like people had to line up outside to get a towel and then line up to get in the building - who is going to want to do that? (the NBA and NHL drape them over every seat)

I think I understand why, in-character, Drew didn't wait to cash-in. They had Michael Cole talking about how Drew thinks the MitB is a cheap way to get a belt, and Drew himself mentioned a few times that he resented Priest for getting the briefcase the way he did at Mania. So from that angle it would make sense that Drew's pride would override his logic, and he wouldn't want to win his title the same way he had it taken from him. They just should have explained that better, and maybe they will have him do that on RAW tomorrow.

@@Steven-cf1ty I agree, it's shitty to have a month of buildup, a dozen matches, a big ladder match, only to have the whole thing get spent on furthering a storyline in the exact same way you had furthered it at two previous PLEs. But apparently Levesque hates the MitB gimmick so they don't care if it gets wasted I guess.

@@theghosty99 I wouldn't even say it furthered the story. It regressed it. We went from McIntyre destroying Punk right back to square one, but now Rollins hates Punk too. I don't even think HHH is to blame, the writing staff is largely still guys who were around from Vince's days and the new hires are infamous for being college educated comedy writers, not wrestling fans.

Drew McIntyre deciding to turn it into a triple threat honestly might have been one of the least logical choices from WWE creative since Trip's took over. Prior to this, most of the decisions were logical or at least had something later to make them logical. This was up there with Braun Strowman's "cash-in" where he, for some dumb reason, just had a HITC match instead of letting someone else fight Reigns and then cash in.

Drew McIntyre cashing in, as silly as it is for him to do. I like it. Bro is angry. He's delusional. And he's getting in his own way. He knows he can beat Seth and Priest. He beat Seth at Mania. And if it weren't for Punk he'd beaten priest. So from his perspective, he can beat them. He wants to also get back at Priest for cashing in on him at Mania and he killed Punk. So all he had to do was cash in and beat them to prove he is the guy. But Punk got in the way AGAIN! I feel it's thought out but for the first time as a wrestling fan, you can actually interpret how to feel because it's not as spelled out for you as it used to be. Hell one thing you notice from Punk's interference is he ruined the match for everyone. For Drew, for Seth and Damien who didn't want help even if Drew interfered.
