Protip for Simon and Co while in Vegas - ignore the gambling, take in a couple of shows, and take full advantage of any all you can eat buffets. Trish def wins, can def employ heel tactics… Rhea obviously, it should be no more than 5 minutes… I agree Simon, Bianca needs a redemption arc to recradle her fanbase which is mostly kids. She is like the modern Cena, Asuka goes over holds it til Summerslam, I like that route. They can prolong that feud cause honestly, their Mania match was great, I expect more greatness from them this Saturday. Asuka needs credibility, way too much talent to keep jobbing her in big matches.

Predictions for Night of Champions: Rhea squashes Natalya Bianca wins Trish Stratus wins, but only thanks to a reveal of her new faction (not sure who but maybe Dana Brooke and Emma just to give them something to do) Gunther squashes Mustafa Ali Sami and Kevin Owens win due to the Uso’s assistance backfiring Cody Rhodes This may be a bit of a long stretch, but have AJ Styles win, turn heel, along with his group, and then they run rampant on Raw, this allows Seth (if he’s not going to Hollywood yet), or an upcoming star eventually beat AJ for the championship. The only result I'm not too sure about is Bianca vs. Asuka. That feud has sucked badly, which is a shame because those ladies are both great, so I'm not pretty sure what they're doing. It would be lame to have brought Kana back for nothing, but I have the feeling that they don't even care at this point, so Bianca could easily win this Saturday and everything would remain just the same. But I think Asuka could win as well, it's not that far-fetched. The rest of the results are not even a thing to me, 100% what you said.

Sami and Ko retain, thats gonna be a drama filled match. I hope Sami pins Roman but I feel like a KO swanton will pin Solo and then Roman and Solo might start planting seeds for their inevitable clash down the line. Gunther obviously retains, I really hope Ali loses with grace and gets proper time to get us invested into that match. I expect Gunther to teach him a lesson about moving up the card 😂 I hope its hard hitting. I 100% agree Simon, Brock goes over and I really want to see a Cody vs HHH (admin) feud. Imagine HHH start feeding him dudes like Omos, Bobby, maybe even a Bronson reed. Give Cody all the beef. If they wanna push him into megastardom without a belt, he’s gonna have to pick up some unique and crazy wins while the administration continues to test him. I hope he at least gets some rest before MiTB, he should be a heavy favorite but Im betting on Finn Balor snatching the briefcase this year. JD is ready to move up the card.

- Rhea simply Squashes Natalya which ties into my theory that they’ll just have a bunch of squash feuds for Rhea to sort of make her seem like a million miles ahead of the RAW women’s division until she inevitably faces Becky - Asuka beats Bianca so that if they do want to continue their story having a change in champion freshens it up a little - Gunther squashes Ali because Lol and also they want a Riddle vs Gunther program anyway - Brock essentially squashes Cody which writes him off TV and allows Brock to enter a World title feud with a match at MITB where Cody returns and costs Brock the title - Seth wins the world title because lol he’s on RAW and doesn’t make sense to start trading roster spots so early after the draft. Plus AJ and the OC vs Roman and the Bloodline is a fun program to have for MITB anyway. - The Usos cause a DQ in the tag team match which gives Sami and Kevin the win without having to pin either Roman or Solo. You then have Sami and Kevin finally leave the bloodline story and have Roman get very very cross indeed at the Usos which sets up a Usos vs Roman and Solo match at Summerslam

My predictions Rhea obviously squashes Nat Asuka wins in a dirty finish Trish wins, building for SS Gunther wins, no squashing. Roman and Solo wins. The usos interfere, fail, but Solo saves the day. However, Roman will punish the usos anyway, which, in turn, will make Solo's loyalty fade over time. In SS, Solo will betray Roman, leaving him utterly alone, and having Sami and KO win the titles back Brock wins, HHH will interfere trying to save Cody. HHH vs Cody feud begins, a la Stone Cold vs Vince AJ wins with a heel turn

The stakes for this card don't feel high at all. I know Rollins & styles will be a banger but The best build & match that seems to have the highest stake is Cody vs Brock. Is the US title even going to be defended ? The build basically has me feeling like WWE is telling me this card isn't really that important. Backlash felt way bigger than this card

AJ gets pinned by Bray while Seth gets protected and sets up a feud for Seth and Bray culminating in Seth winning the WHC in the main event of SUMMERSLAM

a buddy asked me how i'd plan this ple for the tag titles. i'd have the uso's come out, screw up and hit roman, and sami pins roman for the win. to me, that's the best way to begin the end of the bloodline and romans run.

Trish beats Becky with shenanigans, maybe Lita returns but swerves us all and sides with Trish Asuka beats Bianca. This match should only happen if Asuka is winning, otherwise they've killed this new(old) gimmick. Rhea beats Natalya decisively. Gunther beats Mustafa Ali. Ali gets some real hope spots that get us believing he could do it but of course, he won't. Roman & Solo beat Owens & Zayn. The following week on Smackdown, Roman calls out The Uso's simply to say "That's how you do it" before dropping the tag belts at their feet and walking off AJ Styles beats seth. Just really want AJ to win this. I find seth to be excruciatingly boring to the point where I skip his segments nowadays. That said, I don't expect it. Brock Lesnar beats Cody Rhodes. It makes the most sense, and there's a great get out card with Cody's arm. Definitely a bigger story at play here with Triple H too.

I know this won’t be popular but what if hhh screws over Cody and ends up putting Brock in the world title match and win it. Then say the deal heyman made was to ensure that Cody never gets a shot at the championship because he is undeserving. Which means as long as Brock is champ Cody isn’t allowed to challenge for the title, problem is then Cody wins the money in the bank and ends up going after reigns for what heyman did.
