so for the dragunov thing vs gunther so heres my thought. You can make this work in a really short amount of time if you do it in such a way where Gunther basically gives dragunov a shot because hes been watching him as he watches everyone he considers a potential future opponent of his which to me then makes Gunther the one who has to tell everyone why they should know who dragunov is that doesnt know already. With that if Gunther knows who he is then really that should be enough at least perhaps for a one off event like at Berlin at least thats my thought on that matter.

I think it’s weird that Roman’s title still carries the “undisputed” moniker when Seth Rollins holds a world title. The whole point of that match with Brock that he had was because Brock was WWE champ and Roman was universal champ. They fight and unified the titles. But RAW needed a world title so they made the new WHC belt. I think when Roman final drops the title they need to take that undisputed name off of the belt and just revert back to either the WWE or Universal Title. Because if they don’t the WHC will never feel like it could be worth more than the undisputed title even if they build it up more with new champs and more feuds

Prediction/Fantasy Booking: Royal Rumble Final 4 will be Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and LA Knight (CM Punk not included cause I think he'll challenge Seth Rollins for the WHC). LA Knight is thrown out by Brock, giving him major heat, but soon after tries to eliminated Cody Rhodes, avenging his loss at SummerSlam, only for Cody to reverse at the last second and eliminate Brock, making the final two Cody vs Gunther for the 2nd time in a row, never done before, but this time with Gunther eliminating Cody (Maybe Cody attempts the same elimination he did last year only for it to not work). Gunther challenges Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. Two unstoppable beasts with historic championship reigns, finally colliding to determine the true titan of WWE. I get some plotholes with this idea like Cody's story, but Cody's elimination could ignite a micro-feud between the two on Gunther's Road to WrestleMania (Cody vs Gunther at Elimination Chamber anyone?). Also, every tenth WrestleMania has passed the torch and crowned a new star by giving them a world championship. Bret Hart at WM10, Chris Benoit at WM20, and Daniel Bryan at WM30, so why not Gunther at WM40? And speaking of the micro-feud between Cody and Gunther, you can also put Cody into the main event, making it a Triple Threat match (Also helps with the heel vs heel thing which I know is really difficult to pull off), the 3rd one in a row for every tenth WM (20 has Triple H vs Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit, and 30 had Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton vs Batista). You have it all there, you have Roman Reigns vs 2 upcoming stars in the main event. You have the crowning of a new, very deserving world champion in Gunther. You don't have Brock Lesnar (At least in the main event). You still can have LA Knight defeat Logan Paul for the United States Championship. There's a lot of pros for very little cons in my view. I am also okay if Cody does win, don't get me wrong. It achieves basically everything that Gunther winning achieves, so you could honestly replace Gunther with Cody for the 2nd half of this and I would still be more than happy with it. TLDR: Gunther last eliminates Cody Rhodes to win the Rumble and challenges Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship. Due to Cody's story, Cody and Gunther feud, leading to a match at Elimination Chamber, and due to this feud, Cody is added into the main event, making it a Triple Threat, with Gunther winning and becoming the new Undisputed Universal Champion. If Cody wins, that is also awesome and I'm more than okay with that

One way they could build up Ilja Dragunov really quickly on the main roster is by having him be an iron man in the royal rumble still as NXT champion (ideally also getting lots of big eliminations too, but most importantly including Gunther in the final 4 or 5) but not have him win it, and then from that big elimination of Gunther, have Gunther show up in Nxt to attack Dragunov, and eventually cost him the title in like February, for him him go into a marquee Wrestlemania match for the IC title, whether he wins there or not isn’t really the point (NXT UK match is a perfect explanation of why i say that) but just having that huge showcase on a major stage is to get people to be like “ok, im into this” off of the pedigree that gunther has built up

You always say the thing about bad booking with the women’s tag titles but the main problem is that they barely have any real women’s tag teams so it’s hard to care about the feuds or titles at all. Mid card titles would make it much easier to care and would also only require 2 women for each feud and make it easier to build.

I like the idea of Ilja challenging Gunther for a belt at Berlin but why couldn’t it just be the IC belt? Gives WWE an easier opportunity to push as he isn’t having to be pushed to main event status and it’s more plausible for Ilja to win the IC belt off of Gunther than the WHC.

I think it's hard to call up ppl from nxt when you got so much star power on the main roster already maybe a 3rd brand ecw or WCW business wise it'll be another day they can sell tv rights. I know nxt can be that 3rd brand but they are already known as the developmental brand and you'd have to just create another developmental brand so that's why I didn't say them as the 3rd "main roster" brand but even with a 3rd brand ppv bookings will be hard. WWE got roster problems but I think it's a good problem to have

I hated it when Okada just came in a white tee and sneakers on AEW. That is not how you present one of the greatest wrestlers in the modern era. I just don't know how Roman retains the belt at WM if he faces Cody again. I won't say people will turn against Cody if he loses again, but he definetly loses some steam, and I would definetely be fatigued to wait a whole nother year waiting for Cody to get a shot again. Cody also can't go that long without a belt, I get the "hard times" comparisons but come on, why are we booking him like he was in AEW? On top of that I think this year has really soured people on Roman's run. I was a big believer in it last year, I thought even though he wasn't on every show he was active enough that I wasn't mad about it, and they would bring up his name actively in the nights he wasn't on so he always had a presence. This year though, he feels more like Brock Lesnar's part-time unviersal championship run, where you basically forget about him for months until he pops up to take an obvious win since he can't lose until Wrestlemania. Even when he pops up now, he no longer has the bloodline for story-wise purposes. Last year even when he went against guys like Logan Paul, or KO when you knew for a fact Roman was going to retain, we had all this bloodline drama, we had Sami, Jey becoming main event guys, it was intriguing past just who the opponent was. Now, I don't get that same feeling, Roman's feud with LA Knight was alright, but even just a month after no memorable moments really come to my mind. It was such a bland feud and while I am definetely in the camp that this Roman run has elevated more people than its hurt, I don't think Roman did that with LA Knight, if anything I care less about LA Knight now then I did before. With guys like Drew, Logan and Sami, Roman was making them into stars. Overall, it's just become so bland this run, and there's a clear person who both deserves the belt, but also needs the belt. Roman retaining would be such a mistake
