Eh. I don't think he's at that level yet. The person who eliminates him would get a lot of heat though. But this is why you bring him in early, so he can have a good rumble but still get eliminated long before the final 4.

It won't be like Daniel Bryan case where everyone is demanding to see him get a mania world title shot. Wwe is doing fine with him and crowd is satisfied with his position. They just need to give him a good showing, have him last for half an hour or so and get couple of important eliminations and have a heel (if he is fighting logan at wm, then have him eliminate him)

Winning the Universal Championship is not finishing the story for Cody. As the Universal Championship did not exist when Dusty was wrestling. Finishing the story is winning the Heviewight Championship. Then sadly out of nowhere as soon as Cody wins Preast cashes in and he becomes the champion so it be just like father like son. I think Ilja Dragunov will be in the rumble and I do see him being the one to take the Universal title off of Roman. I just hope at Maina we get a new Universal Champion as I'm tired of Roman as champ

The way rumbles work is for the big guys when they come in there has to be people in there they can throw out. You can’t have a bunch of monsters in there together, you have to have your smaller guys. Cody at 1, Jey USO at 9, CM Punk at 19, Brock at 30. Brock clears everyone. Final Four Brock Cody Jey Cm punk. They had the spot where Brock gets thrown out enough to setup a match..time for the other way around. Brock throws out Gunther and Gunther challenges Brock for Mania. CM Punk wins, Cody gets a way into the chamber against AJ La Knight Randy and two others. Gunther loses the title at chamber because he called Brock out, he interferes therefore no title on the line. Gunther goes over at Mania. Punk loses to Rollins, Cody finishes the story…going through the rumble, the chamber and finally Roman. Maybe with the Rocks help to setup a match later.

I can see Cody entering early and being the Iron Man, but being eliminated by Bloodline shenanigans. Then, have him win Elimination Chamber to be #1 contender for Roman's title at Wrestlemania. That would mean Punk vs Rollins at Wrestlemania (which would not suck in the slightest), but I still think it's time to get the IC title off Gunther and elevate him to the World title. I would love to see him win the Rumble and challenge Rollins (losing the IC title on the road to Wrestlemania thanks to Rollins shenanigans a la Cena losing the US Title as part of the road to winning the World title from JBL).
