*With WWE Games rumoured to be working on a remake of Smackdown Here Comes The Pain I thought it would be cool to try putting together a remastered version of the game featuring updated graphics and logos whilst still trying to retain the original design.* After 3 days of non-stop work, this is what I come up with! Coming back to this concept 3 years later. Smackdown here comes the pain is one of if not the best wrestling game ever made. WWE 2K22 has gotten close gameplay wise mixing arcade style gameplay with simulation graphics but they still have a long way to go if they want to truly match here comes the pain.

The team that's working on the games is literally the exact same team that worked on it when it was handled by THQ. It's WWE giving them no creative freedom that's ruining the games, this comes directly from the people making the game which is why they are making a game of their own that is in no way under WWE's control, to show WWE they can do better without the restrictions.

Fantastic work! My favorite one is svr 2007 because all the holds you could do, blood on the mat and amazing visuals etc... And it was not too fast not too slow not too realistic not too arcady. Hctp is definitely one of my favorites mainly for all the backstage areas. I always said I'd love a wrestling game with all the backstage from hctp ,shut your mouth and even the crowd interaction of svr 2007 and make it open world so no loading it would be awesome! Fuck a roster being big personally I only ever pick a few wrestler's to use mostly enjoy creating my own but again this is amazing work! Give is a dlc roster of they want IDGAF just wish the wrestling game franchise didn't go down hill. Even created superstars stick out too much from the professional model's the muscle physics aren't the same in the created superstars and so on.

Wrong Kurt Angle (with hair). Wrong Smackdown logo. Stage doesn't look anything like that in Here Comes the Pain. (It's a ramp with lights) And minitron animation is 2005 smackdown not 2003. Also John Cena has all the armbands like circa 2006. Camera angles/sound fx on the F5 really replicated the here comes the pain feel so well done for that.
