WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth - Unused Theme Songs

Hidden away on the disc are entrance theme songs that were being used for unfinished builds of the game, and then later changed in the final version.
Most of these changes would have been to update the game as they went through development - but as for Maven's theme being changed to the SmackDown! theme song this may have come down to licence & copyright issues, with the band Big Mother Thruster (Mercy Drive) who performed his entrance music.

I always liked how Billy Gunn's theme "All I've got" sounded like a 90s sitcom theme

Well Shane McMahon was in it at one point. Had a model and full entrance created. The World Championship and WWF Championship would have also been featured in season mode. Scott Hall was also meant to be in it.

99.9% sure there's a SYM mod being released soon with all the unused themes re-added plus more themes/trons added in.

Maybe copyright at the time? Don’t quote me on that but it’s usually a very common reason why some songs aren’t used.
