This was an excellent PPV with good matches from bottom to top. My personal fav was Priest vs Gunther, they just battered the shiiiii out of each other. Worst was the main event as it just felt like a cheap copy of Roman Vs Cody but without the star power. But the Roman return was epic and made it worthwhile. For me, second best WWE PPV of the year so far, only behind WM 40 night 2 as I don't think anything all year is going to top the emotion and quality of Roman vs. Cody.

I was there live and for the first ever event I’ve been to the crowd was unreal. Singing Cm Punk’s, Seth Rollins’, and Cody Rhodes’ themes was amazing. Idk if the telecast did the pop and reaction justice for not only Roman, but also LA Knight winning the US title. That US title match was the most fun because it was a great match and the crowd was hot for all of it.

It's funny that Roman came out wearing a literal spoiler. It took me all of ten seconds to figure out what OTC stood for. It took him two minutes to reach the ring. There was no doubt he was going for Solo before he got there. It's the same thing with Tiffy's new briefcase. There was no way she was cashing in at SS. They'd just started selling the damn thing in the merch store.

I heard somewhere that they originally planned for Roman Reigns to take out BOTH Solo and Jacob in order to re-establish his dominance as the former Tribal Chief out to reclaim his status. When Jacob injures his leg after squashing Cody through the announcer's table from the top turnbuckle, the way he screams in frustration, grabbing his leg, hitting and shoving commentator chairs, desperately trying to get back up seemed more out of disappointment that he was too incapacitated to help pull it off and had to improvise from there.

I didn't like the finish of Gunther vs Priest match. Gunther no-sell the razor edge. Why would Priest rolled Gunther over near the ropes? I thought that was stupid. I think the finish for Cody vs Solo match didn't go as planned because Jacob Fatu got himself injured after that table dive. I believed Roman was supposed to spear both Solo and Fatu. But, it worked out.

Well, that’s a very easy problem to fix, if you don’t want Cody to look less than then you put him in the main event and you put the bloodline underneath it. The main event should always be the title. Nobody of a certain stat is retiring there isn’t a big mega dream match going on, so there’s no need to put Cody as the WWE champion in the middle of the card.

Rhea and Damian were the only threats in the Judgement day in terms of winning matches. Everyone else in that group just eats pins. Am I supposed to take them seriously now after kicking out their top 2 strengths in the group? Rhea is for sure winning the title/feud at Bad Blood. I think Damian will cost Finn his tag titles to Jey and Sami. I also think Damian will win the feud as well. All solos weaknesses were really shown in this outing , I don’t feel like anything he does is believable. Tonga loa moves terrible in the ring looks so clumsy and botches so many things. I feel he needs to be replaced with someone else . Unfortunately I think the heat with this angle is totally dead . Only Jacob has the IT factor . I believe he’s broken his leg watching the pain he was in . Seth shouldn’t have been in the punk drew match . He stole the spotlight of the other guys which I felt ruined there match .

He was always just "the good wrestler" of The Shield, then he betrayed them and evolved into the "heel that can wrestle" and so on until like last year when he went "insane" (read: acting a little wacky or animated when talking and wearing somewhat outlandish, high fashion clothing), but is still mostly the same guy that "can wrestle." They give him nicknames and try to add to his lore via his wrestling achievements or milestones, but who is he before becoming a wrestler or what his identity outside of wrestling seemingly is doesn't exist. His real life marriage to Becky is the most character writing he's ever gotten on that front. Kevin Owens is a similar character that simply is good at wrestling and doesn't really have a character outside of that and their relationships made while wrestling. This is honestly an entire archetype in and of itself, considering how many people seem to fit this description.
