People said that Ronda Rousey’s “WWE is fake” comment was a work. It doesn’t sound like Becky Lynch, Booker T, and others took it as a work. I don’t think that ESPN would allow WWE to play the kayfabe/work bs with them…..which is why ESPN does not allow WWE performers to compete for the professional sports ESPYs. I believe that WWE gets one ESPY category which is “best WWE moment” which means that the professional sports cannot win the unique award.

I see that this ESPN interview is pretty much kayfabe aka a work aka fake. I thought that WWE and ESPN were going for a more authentic relationship.
