I’m hoping Mattel makes an articulated coat like what Jazwares did. There’s no way Mattel wouldn’t make another UE Cody in the future.

The Supreme version still looks better. The coat looks oversized, the head scans and paint isn't up to the likeness of the Supreme. Also, most high-end figures don't use waist swivel like SH Figuarts, Mafex, etc, double-jointed torso is always the way to go. Waist swivel is for cheap toys like Marvel Legends. Waist and Thigh cuts are bad because it breaka the sculpt, while double-jointed figures provide more articulation while tapering the ugly edges and hides the articulation better. Proportion is also better with Supreme. The only advantage I see with Ultimate Edition is the "exclusivity" that's artificially made due to its limited availability which makes it sought-after and it's packaging. Also Mattel is more mainstream than Jazwares so there is bias on many fan boys. But, if you can overlook the unnecessary marketing ploy the Supreme is overall better figure. If you give that figure to a high-end six inch figure collector who has never touched both Mattel and Jazwares lines without telling the brand, they will tell you immediately that the Supreme is better.

As much as I’m liking the UE it’s hard to argue against the Supreme. Jazwares hit a home run with their Cody.

Mattel needs to revamp their ankles on these figures. No ankle pivot in this day and age is nasty work. Especially when you look at how easy you can pivot ankles on Marvel Legends and Jazwares figures.
