WWE WrestleMania 23: Money in the Bank Ladder Match (SmackDown vs RAW 2008)

Starting with WrestleMania 21 back in 2005, the Money in the Bank ladder match was a staple of the Show of Shows. Every year, superstars from both RAW and SmackDown would meet in the squared circle to fight for the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase. If you somehow managed to win the chaotic match, you received a guaranteed title opportunity, which could be cashed-in at any time over a twelve month period. Going into WrestleMania 23, both Money in the Bank holders (Edge and Rob Van Dam) had successfully cashed-in their contracts to win the gold.
For WWE WrestleMania 23, Money in the Bank featured eight wrestlers for the very first time. Included in the match were ladder match veterans such as Edge & The Hardy Boyz. CM Punk represented the ECW brand, and in the process entered his first WrestleMania as well (minus being an extra during Cena's entrance the previous year). Veterans such as Booker T and Randy Orton were competing in their first ladder match, and Mr. Kennedy was also entering his first ladder match. Finally, there was Fit Finlay, a tough Irishman who had competed at the MiTB ladder match at WrestleMania 22. Out of all these highly talented superstars, who would stand above the rest and walk out of Detroit as Mr. Money in the Bank?

*The original Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 23 also featured Finlay and Matt Hardy. Since SmackDown vs RAW 2008 only allowed six wrestlers to compete at a time, these two were unfortunately left out of the match.
