WWE absolutely failed on the creative / storyline side of things which for this feud was most important. There was little heat to it because of that. But this match is totally on the Usos. All they did was hit a bunch of super kicks, hit a couple of splashes, and one spear. I know the Usos in general do a lot of super kicks but it was absolutely overboard here. They got their wish to face each other and absolutely stunk it up. This felt like a TV match which is pathetic. The finish was out of nowhere too and when Jey got the pinfall, I was like "Wait, really?! That's it?" I wish the match was mid but it wasn't. It was genuinely bad.

Honestly Rey and Andrade vs Santos and Dominik was my favorite match of the night by far. Rhea vs Becky was great Sami vs Gunther was great (and people keep saying Sami had no offense and just got beat up all match and then won with two moves-Gunther was fucking welting and bleeding) though I expected Gunther to win and lose to Ilja later this year A-Town Down Under winning the tag titles got an unexpected pop out of me, we predicted both winners of the match and I still jumped up when Waller grabbed the belts so that was a cool moment that absolutely should have been given at least some music or some zoom ins on the other wrestlers being shocked or whatever Everything was fine, nothing was BAD, though the Usos was pretty weak. The crowd was so quiet all night, the ringside sponsors were absolutely distracting, there were SO many technical errors with the presentation-music not hitting, video feed glitches, backgrounds not changing, cues feeling off. More backstage segments would have been nice, it felt like it was just a few matches with commercials between them. Charolette was there and had a backstage moment with Rhea on KZbin, why not have them have a moment in kayfabe too, have that be the passing of the torch moment? Sami’s backstage bit was incredible, have Cody and Sami hype up Jey before his match, have Bayley have an awkward moment with Naomi, Bianca and Jade or something Idk, it was good but it didn’t feel like Mania all the way. I care way more about more matches in night two though so hopefully it delivers even more

Put both brands titles on the line, three teams from Raw and three from SD go at it with the potential of switching brands if a team from one brand wins the other brands titles. If course the brand split actually has to mean something so once they get that down pat, I want this ladder match to be a yearly thing at mania.
