On February 8, 2024, Billy Jack Haynes was arrested following a two-hour standoff with police after a shooting. He was questioned by police, and he is expected to be charged with the murder of his wife, Janette Becraft, who died by gunshot wound. Becraft, who was 85 years old at the time of her death and suffering from dementia, was found dead in their home.

Benoit was using a diving headbutt move for years and years before ever entering a WWE ring and thats a fact. His brain was already scrambled by the time he left WCW as in Japan he got some absolute beatdowns been a smaller western guy. Benoit only was in WWE for part of his career. Not excusing Vince but end of the day Benoit's choice of moves and risk hurt himself long before you ever get into the steroids encouraged by WCW/WWE at the time. WCW had Hogan, Goldberg, Nash etc at the top of the card so Benoit got on the steroids before WWE. If Vince got sued Ted Turner should have also. Basically the same in both companies and in Japan.

Chris Benoit's case is completely different. The loss of Eddie Guerrero sent him over the edge. I believe he would've committed the same acts despite CTE, if Eddie still had died. Furthermore, Jimmy Snuka is also a murderer whom didn't get convicted due to his poor health prior to his death. Wrestling in general is had a dark history full of murder, suicide, drugs and tragic accidents.
