Excited for a new wrestling game after 2 years. I have to be honest that the previous trailer had me more hyped and looked very different from previous 2K wrestling games. However, after this trailer, it looked more like the previous 2k games and animations along with facial expressions seemed off. I don't know. I'm excited but remain skeptical. I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be a truly redesigned engine as promised or the same 2k gameplay with a fresh coat of paint.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The facial expressions on some wrestlers doing moves were non-existent and with the spear or any huge slam, there’s barely any impact on the person being hurt. They just land on the mat without any bounce or holding parts of their body for a bit, they kind of just hit the ground and not react. Don’t know if that makes any sense. I really want this game to be good, it’s the only thing I’m good at in the fighting game genre lol.

The gameplay engine is new, you can see the controls in the previous trailer, and there are like 4000 new animations. That's brutal, I wouldn't lose hope at the moment

@Chris Grigo Voices I agree about the wrestling mat having no impact. I've been saying for years that the wrestling mat doesn't bounce like it used to in older 2k games. However, they seemed to fix that in 2k20 after it had been out for almost 6 months to a year. I was pleasantly surprised at how much more impact the moves had with the ring bouncing. I have hope that even if at launch this game doesn't have a bouncy ring, they will update it later

Edge should be the cover and there should be a mode chronically his career. From debuting as a drifter, to joining the Brood and feuding with the Hardyz, to being with Christian, to being a solo guy, to feuding with Hardy and Lita managing him, Rated RKO, winning the WWE and Heavyweight titles, and finally un-retirement. The unlockables would be attires, the venues, the other superstars, the Rated R title. They could've done so much.

Failure to turn up will allow the contender to earn the title. - Each tournament can host only 10-15 players per week ( in a tournament bracket format) - Consecutive Championships (US , WWE or tag title) can earn a spotlight feature on social media along with their gamer tag This will give players a reason to tune into the game every week What you all think?🤔

It still looks off to me. The facial expressions are lacking especially in moments they shouldn't be. Bianca shouldn't have a dead expression while giving a back breaker for example. No, I get it. I thought there was some stutter or teleporting/changing directions in some spots. I get it's a game, but given how fluid the NBA games are, people just want to see that here. However, this looks amazing compared to what we got in the past. I hope they continue to build on it and I definitely want to check this out. I only wish they had the roster of 2k14 with the Years of Wrestlemania mode in this game. It would have been amazing.

My only complaints are some of the models look weird a tiny bit, taker should never be restricted to a pre-order bonus and the movement is a bit sluggish/stuttery. Other than that love it.

@@Shadow_Gamer12012 actually they did, look at all of the cut content from 2007 that didn't make it to 2008, even 2009, 2010 was the first time they got things actually right and 2011 all was cool, then 12 comes with problems again, not as much, by 13 they got it right again, then they rushed the new engine with 15, ended up like a mess, 16 solved all that, then 17 and 18 idk what happened, but looks like they were building upon these, then we got 19 which was the last good wwe game since 14/16
