Everyone in no mercy has an elongated head. Never noticed before. Plus the majority have grumpy faces.

Feel like No Mercy took a downgrade for quality of the wrestlers at the cost of increasing the quality for everything else. Still both fun games!!

Seems to me like it was hit and miss. Some looked better, some looked worse, and some had no change. I'm just glad they took that weird red tint off off Mark Henry and Viscera

WWF 2000 always had the best looking models, i wish they continued with the style of 2000 in No Mercy.

Well it wouldn't be good some would hate it and then we would still get crappy story like wm 2000 and weapons would disappear when they drop on the ground that why what they did here was more better to no mercy

Most characters look better in Wrestlemania 2000 imo, like the No Mercy ones are more bland or something. It jumps at you right away when you look at Rock. Never noticed that before. 🤔

Agreed. There are indeed quite a few upgrades but some are slight downgrades too. Liked WM2000 Foley's look better, for example.

@@jonathanturbide2232 and then there's WM2000 Jericho who save for a thing or two, is a carbon copy of Revenge Jericho... No Mercy Jericho is certainly a major upgrade.

@NcWcN1 WM 2000 Jericho is a carbon copy of Revenge Jericho simply because that was the only way for him to be in the game haha, Jericho almost didn't make the cut since he made his WWF debut after the roster deadline, but since they already had him "in the system" thanks to Revenge they were able to add him to WM 2000 at the very last second. I remember reading that way back in the day. 😀

Some on Wrestlemania 2000 look way better than No Mercy then there is Terri Runnels basically being Ms. Elizabeth. 😂

Forever will hate that No Mercy Undertaker model. Wish the Undertaker in WM2000 was in No Mercy.

The Undertaker model looked like a generic wrestler and i wasnt a fan of his biker gimmick either, his deadman gimmick made him famous, not the cliche biker persona.

I'm very intrigued to see how Ultra Pro Wrestling will handle their game since it will be exactly like No Mercy, Virtual Pro Wrestling, Def Jam Fight for NY (Sort of) and Wrestlemania 2000

Okay, admittedly '2000 did better with the faves and the bodies seemed more unique even if simple 3D models. Especially with the women.

Now this is what a sequel should be, where each game would always look and feel different, and you can argue whether it's better or worse.. but at least it wasn't almost the same game year after year with barely noticeable differences...

No Mercy always looked better than WM2000 imo. WM 2000/VPW2 were always too blocky for me. No Mercy's textures are smoother. Even when upscaled on project 64 the characters still look blocky

been doing some texure editing and asking myself why the hell they widened certain designs and completely scribbled like a 2 year old drawing after making said things look neater in the last game? maybe they were in a hurry JR!
