I really believe this was the most important PPV in the history of the WWE. Not only EVERY single job and contract was on the line but The Rock finally got his revenge against Stone Cold after what happened 8 months prior at Wrestlemania 17. BTW the Survivor Series official theme song is pretty badass. The song is Control by Puddle of Mudd.

Usually its because some licensed copyrighted music for PPVs expire after a certain amount of time and they legally can't use them in the WWE Network anymore and they end up replacing the original themes with a similar generic versions of them by their inhouse producer who makes most of the entrance themes. Yeah they do sound lame but that's copyright laws for you.

yes in the early vhs releases they kept the sponsors in but from late 98-early 99 they started editing them out, funny the network is kind of inconsistent from 99 to about 2003 at the latest as some have the sponsors royal rumble 99, invasion, wm 17 but some from that time period are edited out, and later ppv s just are taken from the dvd versions and so dont have any sponsorship its weird...
