There is a hole punch and snap set you can buy off of eBay. So you can re install the snaps.

Pakistan belt makers over there seem to not like to put full belt tip on their belts

Is there a difference between the Zinc and Brass plates that come from Pakistan?

The face of the eagle could be due the fact that you have 2mm plates. I have a 4mm pakistan winged eagle and the the face and feathers on the wings look better. I also gave a wcw US belt from figure toys campany with 2mm plates and there the eagle looks almost like the one on your belt. I know 4mm are more expenssive but their really is a difference when it comes to details.
