According to the text in the back of the WWF WrestleMania box… “You’ve always dreamed of being Hulk Hogan. Or “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Or one of the other WWF Superstars. And now, here’s your chance!” If this game was released today, it would either say… “You’ve always dreamed of being Roman Reigns. Or Cody Rhodes. Or one of the other WWE Superstars, or in Reigns’ case, ‘living legends.’ And now, here’s your chance!” …or… “You’ve always dreamed of being Charlotte Flair. Or Becky Lynch. 5:13 Nothing like hearing "Pomp and Circumstance" playing while Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage are going at it in the ring. 😄 Anyway, it sounds like, from the description, that this is one of those games that might actually improve your skills as a gamer because you have to put up with unfair BS to control the characters. I'm not going to say the game is good or anything, it doesn't sound like it. But having to master hand-eye coordination and muscle memory to nail the timing down of complicated button maneuvers? Definitely some of the worst controls on the NES. You know something's wrong when the only viable method of beating your opponent is basic strikes. I much prefer Pro Wrestling and the WCW game over this. I would mention Tecmo World Wrestling but it was a bit too button mashy for my taste. The only positives I can really give it are the music and the fact each wrestler has a different appearance, not just a face swap, unlike the games I mentioned.
