There was a ceasefire that Hamas broke and that is why there is war now, what other enemy in war gives a daily ceasefire so civilians can go to a safe area. The gazaian people are not in an open prison they have another border where they can get out. Unfortunately the hamas regime don't wont them to leave as that is their defense shield.
